Job Title:Project Engineers (PE)

Job Summary:
Project Engineers shall be responsible for design, planning, installation and commissioning of civil/structural, electrical/instrument, piping, civil and mechanical components of our project deliverables.

Major Responsibilities:

    Creating and editing civil/structural, piping and electrical/ instrumentation diagrams utilising client’s standards
    Ensuring quality and accuracy of piping, electrical, instrumentation, civil/structural and mechanical design activities including layout, specification development, material selection (MTO), calculation and drafting of changes required for improvement.
    Shall conduct and/or participate in technical review meetings, specifications, designs and codes.
    Supervision of field construction activities according to the specified design drawings and in line with standard design practices.
    Ensuring that design codes, DEPs, specifications, procedures and methods relating to project design and construction are implemented.
    Maintenance of as-built files.

Qualification and Personal Attributes:

    The ideal candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline of Civil/structural, Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgical/Material or Petroleum and must have at least 10 years hand-on experience in Oil and Gas industry.
    Must be a COREN certified Engineer.
    Must be able to work in teams towards the attainment of Corporate objectives.
    Must be knowledgeable in standards such as ASME, BSI and SHELL DEP.
    Must be ready to work long hours and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.


Job Title: Contract Administrators (CA)

Job Summary:
The Contract Administrator shall be responsible for project contract management from pre-construction activities through constructionand commissioning. This position will ensure that all contractual provisions related to our projects are followed, monitored and closed out.

Major Responsibilities:

    Coordinate the negotiation, execution and monitoring and compliance of all contracts
    Interpret contract provisions in order to raise relevant clarifications or queries to the client
    Update the project management system with key dates/milestones/agreements/ documents and communications.
    Monitor contract performance of sub-contractors and vendors by ensuring compliance to contract requirements before approval of invoices.
    Handle all documentation and correspondences necessary to obtain approval for work not previously covered in a contract; process and obtain approval for contract variations.
    Initiates and/or conducts meetings with clients concerning contractual problems as requested by the Project Manager
    Assist the business development in preparing bid documents

Qualification and Personal Attributes

    The ideal candidate must be an Engineer or a lawyer with more than 10 years experience in providing contract management for construction industry in the Oil and Gas sector.
    Strong working knowledge of customary construction contract language and provisions.
    Confident with excellent communication skills and ability to conduct meetings
    Strong drive and unwavering discipline
    Membership of professional contract/ project management bodies will be an advantage.
    Must be ready to work long hours and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
    Must be able to work as a part of a team

Job Title: Project Managers for EPC Projects (PM)
Job Summary:
The Project Manager shall be responsible for the planning, management, co-ordination, evaluation and financial control of an EPC project. Shall be responsible for preparation of monthly project report for Company management consideration and coordinate all Head office activities necessary for the effective and prompt project execution. The candidate must be professional and able to provide leadership required to attain project goals.

Major Responsibilities:

    Responsible for all managerial and administrative aspects of a project. This shall include estimating, scheduling, progress measurement, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost studies, safety, and proposal preparation.
    He shall work with client early in process in order to facilitate the Engineering process with the design team and ensure all necessary drawings are approved for construction.
    Coordinate Engineering, International procurement and construction services
    Conduct weekly and monthly progress meeting including invoice and cost forecasts.
    Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents and effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
    Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Track project milestones and deliverables and develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
    Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
    Research and develop relationships with new vendors and suppliers of services and nurtures current relationships with such vendors. Maintain vendor/contractor communications concerning work scheduling, billings, and vendor relations
    Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle. Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
    Direct and manage project development from beginning to end by defining the project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing and consistent basis.

Qualification and Personal Attributes:

    The ideal candidate must be a COREN certified Engineer with more than 20 years’ experience in Oil and Gas Construction and 10 years hand-on commercial construction/ Project management experience.
    Must be a certified Project Management Professional and a great team player
    Must be able to lead a team and must have proven track record of completing quality large projects and on time and within budget.
    Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills
    Ability to read and understand blueprints/drawings and relevant contract documents.
    Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, managers, subcontractors and clients
    Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills including communication skills.
    Must be ready to work long hours and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.

Job Title: Construction Managers (CM)

Job Summary:
The construction Manager shall be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating all construction activities of the project. He shall exercise considerable discretion in adapting specifications and procedures to construction situations in order to deliver the projects at the stipulated time and within budget.

Major Responsibilities:

    Ensure that all construction activities within the designated areas are well planned, coordinated by being able to utilise all available resources in coordination with other line managers/supervisors towards galvanising them for attainment of project goals.
    Leads and ensures that all work groups are properly guided, in close cooperation with the Project Manager, in assembling and controlling the required resources (manpower, equipment, materials and tools) required for commencing and sustaining the work efficiency and productivity until the completion of the project.
    Inspect work-in-progress to ensure conformity with QA/QC specifications and requirements, industry codes, standards and procedures, and provides technical advice to resolve problems.
    Advises the Project Manager in determining and procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specific times in order to conform to the workloads, plans and schedules.
    Interact with other construction superintendents and line managers, discusses and reviews with the Project Manager the project Key Performance Indicators to determine accurate status of the project, making tactical decisions for allocating resources, and assigning staff requirements, to maintain project on target.
    Reviews reports from Superintendents, and forwards to Project Manager for corrective actions if project is behind schedule or above budget.
    Reviews with Engineering team and sub-contractors to assess quality, progress, and over-all performance.
    Ensures the highest standard of safety is maintained throughout the project duration.

Qualification and Personal Attributes:

    The ideal candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Civil/structural Engineering though possession of a Master’s degree will be an advantage.
    Must have at least 15 years hand-on experience in Civil Construction in Oil and Gas industry.
    Must be a COREN certified Civil/ Structural Engineer
    Must be able to work in teams towards the attainment of Corporate objectives
    Must be knowledgeable in standards such as ASME, BSI and SHELL DEP, previous work experience with NLNG shall be an advantage.
    Must be ready to work long hours and work well under pressure to meet deadlines and take responsibility for any delays in the deliverables.

Job Title: QA/QC Managers (QM)
Job Summary:
QA/QC Manager shall be responsible for development, implementation and management of Company’s quality management strategy and plans.

Major Responsibilities:

    Develop and maintain systems to establish standards relevant to the Company’s activities and products
    Develop and maintain systems to measure performance against established standards
    Develop, review and implement the quality procedures of the Company
    Update the quality procedures in line with relevant codes of practice and report as necessary all changes in standards
    Ensure periodic audit to ensure that the Company’s products conform with the procedures and ensure that non-conformities are controlled
    Strategically plan and ensure the continuous training and development of employees
    Ensure that all certifications, completions, commissioning and hand-over dossiers for various activities are completed and demonstrate technical integrity.

Qualification and Personal Attributes:

    The ideal candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline and must have at least 15 years experience in quality control in Oil and Gas industry.
    Must be a certified lead auditor
    Must be able to lead teams towards the attainment of Corporate objectives.
    Must possess relevant certifications such as CSWIP, AWS, NACE, ASNT or its equivalent.
    Must be knowledgeable in standards such as ASME, BSI and SHELL DEP
    COREN certification shall be an advantage
    Must be ready to work long hours and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
    Must be highly disciplined and a very good team player

Job Title: Senior Planners (SP)

Job Summary:
The Senior Planner shall establish and effectively manage all project control measures relevant to completing projects on schedule. Responsible for providing project planning and scheduling services during the development and execution phases of projects.

Major Responsibilities:

    Develops project schedule according to commercial needs.
    Issues planning and scheduling procedures, project measurement procedures for verification by Project Manager and efficiently communicate them to the project team members as required.
    During early phase of the project, shall support the Project Management Team in developing the execution plan for the scope of work
    Resolves logic and schedule related conflicts through close interaction with project stakeholders
    Instrumental in defining and scheduling key contractual milestones for inclusion into contract documents
    Verifies the capacity to execute the contractual scope of work by analyzing resources (human and material) requirements
    Ensures equipment, materials, and engineering are capable and committed to meeting the contractual schedule dates
    Provides status updates to schedules, verifies accuracy of work completed and analyzes progress, schedule performance and variances from the plan and final time-impact.
    Obtains and/or recommends corrective actions for mitigating deviations from the plan
    Works closely with the entire Project Management Team, especially the Cost Control group to identify and resolve schedule deviations and, trends
    Prepares and maintains quantity metrics
    Interfaces and coordinate with other discipline leaders/ supervisors and managers to build up activities, assign milestones and constraints by issuing the logic network
    Establishes and controls effectively planning and progress control system to assist the project manager in decision-making.

Qualification and Personal Attributed:

    The ideal candidate must possess at least a bachelors degree in any Engineering discipline and must have at least 15 years experience in hands-on construction and at least 10 years experience in Project Planning and Control in Oil and Gas industry.
    Must be a certified Project Management Professional
    Must be competent in the use of primavera P6 software as well as other project management Soft wares.
    Must be able to communicate effectively with project team members
    Must be able to interface with other departmental and unit heads in order to gather information for easy project management and control.
    Must be ready to work long hours and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
