The vision is to build the leading Information technology house out of Africa providing solutions beyond equipment and maintenance. Target segments are strategic customers and large projects. The solutions are built on bundling technology, financing and value added services. In many cases alliances will be formed with third parties. This will require close management of partners and relationships.

 Job Title: Marketing Officer
We challenge you to join EQH Business Solutions team as a Business Solution Manager (BSM) where you will be responsible for creating new business solutions in assigned district and leading the different stages of the sales process. You will act as the commercial owner for assigned deals and will engage the district sales team &Channel Partners to sell world class solutions.

As a BSM you will engage customer and In-House senior Management (CEO, CFO, CTO, CIO, Managers & Relevant decision makers & Stakeholders) and develop relationships with key stakeholders, purchasing agencies, consultants, brand partners, resellers, integrator companies etc) to create sales opportunities. You will closely collaborate in the acquisition phase with the District Team (Managing Director, Commercial Director, Other Directors, District Managers, Key Account Managers (KAM), Account Managers, and Indirect Channel Manager etc) and for solution and price related topics with Region Business Managers and the Region Business Development Manager Solutions to support the growth of profitable order intake with selected accounts. If applicable, you will work closely with the relevant team within the business for inbound accounts

Qualifications :

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

 A university degree in Marketing or the Social Sciences or equivalent from a reputable institution

 3years Marketing Communications experience in a structured business-to-business sales organisation

 Conversant with Marketing principles and versatile in the knowledge of cost effective means of promoting

a growing brand

 Experience within the IT industry would be an added advantage

 Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics & requirements

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

 Excellent oral and written communication skills, including command of English

 Very creative and resourceful – able to make the best use of limited resources

 Strong interpersonal skills – able to work well with key internal and external stakeholders and get them to

deliver on required tasks

 High level of personal drive – identify priority tasks and focus on the same

 Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

 Team player with strong initiative, enthusiasm and good business sense

 Attention to detail and high level of organisation

 Able to work under pressures of deadlines

 Be knowledgeable of ICT products and processes and new developments in the industry

ROLE OBJECTIVES:

 Define, execute and manage an annual plan of marketing activities for EQH (Lagos & PH),

towards promoting the company brand; creating sufficient awareness of EQH products and services

amongst the target market segments – corporates & retail and achieving other key business objectives –

using appropriate marketing strategies and channels (such as media advertising, direct mail, sales

promotions, promotional or sponsorship events, etc)

 Ensure effective use of all online channels in promoting the brand awareness of EQH i.e. EQH website,

Facebook and twitter pages

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Implement/ execute marketing activities defined for the year according to the annual plan

 Prepare appropriate justification documents and budget for marketing activities for management

approval, while striving to ensure implementation of cost effective activities based on defined objectives

 Brief graphic designer or advertising agency as regards marketing materials required for activities as and

when required. Ensure the quality and accuracy of the produced materials is of required EQH standards.

 Liaise with all relevant internal teams to gather necessary information required in the development of

marketing materials or in preparation for the implementation of any marketing activity.

 Implement marketing activities as and when required and ensure wide visibility of EQH branding and

promotional materials during the implementation of such activities e.g. product forums for clients,

participation in conferences, media advertising, sponsorships, CSR events, etc

 Generate report on the effectiveness and assessed impact of executed activities when it’s over, and

recommendations for such future activities

 Coordinate all required Press interactions/PR initiatives as regards EQH activities in the course of the year.

Ensure EQH is appropriately represented in necessary industry and outside industry events

 Ensure information regarding all marketing activities of EQH are promptly uploaded and updated on the

EQH website

 Regularly update the EQH web gallery with information on new sales offers, and communicate same via

the weekly or monthly newsletters

 Frequently monitor the performance of the EQH website and performance of the online Sales engine

 Maintain accurate records of all activities executed across all channels and the marketing spend on such as

well e.g. weekly or monthly newsletter dispatch, Facebook or twitter promotions, client open product

forums, etc

 Keep accurate database of all client contact details (Lagos & PH) for the purpose of sending the weekly or

monthly EQH newsletter or any other requirement for such information e.g. bulk SMS broadcasts

 Provide standard formats for all communication within and outside EQH e.g. responses to client mails,

internal memo’s etc

 Attend relevant marketing meetings with EQH partners in order to gather information on available

opportunities and requirements of EQH.

 Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

 Manage time efficiently and accomplish tasks within set deadlines
