Job Title: IT Operations and Service Management Leader

Role Summary/Purpose:            

The IT Operations and Service Management Leader will have end-to-end strategic and operational responsibilities for the definition and delivery of shared service IT Infrastructure services across SSA.

This position will serve as a single point of contact for senior IT leadership team in region and work collaboratively with the wider GE IT & functional IT to deliver world-class IT operations as well as managed the delivery of all the IT services in the region.

Essential Responsibilities:        

IT Operations – Global-Ops IT

– Develop deep relationships with GLOBAL-OPS IT service provider teams, and GLOBAL-OPS IT approved in-country suppliers/vendors

– Drive ITIL operations (Incident / Problem / Change Management ) in the region

– Manage the delivery of GLOBAL-OPS IT infrastructure solutions

– Become the GLOBAL-OPS IT technical expert for regional solutions

– Manage budgets and contracts associated with program(s) or initiative(s)

– Support, advise, assist, guide and resolve infrastructure problems for client leaders and users

– Work as a business partner with functional leaders and users to evaluate / improve business processes with cost effective infrastructure solutions

– Manage all vendor relationship for IT in SSA

– Act as an escalation point for unresolved support cases.

– Work with stakeholders, management and vendors to ensure fast, timely and smooth delivery and operation of IT Infrastructure services.

– Drive to root cause for all failures; incorporate changes to address vulnerabilities.

– Work with technical architecture team to identify and eliminate single points of failure within the infrastructure.

– Manage production change control and all compliance related activities for the dealer originations suite of applications.

– Lead and or support other SSA IT initiatives as identified by regional & global CIO’s

IT Service Delivery

– Analyze Problem & Change data to drive continuous service improvement.

– Drive data analysis to ensure that BSD (Business Service Downtime) & SEV1 volume and secondary ADIR (Average Daily Incident Rate) and MTTR (Median Time to Restore) are reduced according to goals & objectives.

– Represent the 2nd level escalation (1st level being Regional IT Operations Leaders) contact for Incidents that are not resolved within the agreed SLA

– Drive process improvement by initiating/running projects that assesses & remediates IT operational issues

– Provide technical leadership to execute IT infrastructure fault management, maintenance and deployment.

– Apply technical knowledge, skills and problem solving methodologies to identify, document and communicate areas of opportunity for improvement.

– Manage operating rhythm to measure delivery of service including periodic operational reviews.

– Oversee the monitoring strategy of technical environment and the response to failures.

Qualifications/Requirements:

– Strong understanding ITIL framework methodologies and ITIL certified

– Demonstrated knowledge of IT capabilities and experience of running IT operations in Africa

– Demonstrated experience with driving service improvement to achieve best in class IT Operations

– Significant experience within a leadership role in a shared service organization.

– Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science

– Prior experience with process quality methodology or infrastructure technologies (compute, database, network, etc.)

– Strong program management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication

– Minimum 7 years of recent hand-on experience in IT or Telecommunications Operations field, within a multi-discipline, matrix-oriented technical team.

– Ability to deliver compliance requirements and to excel in a global matrix organization

Job Title: Operations Director WCA

Role Summary/Purpose:

Manage complex customer area through leadership and development of team (field engineers, installation field engineers, installation specialists, project managers, clinical apps specialists..). Create an environment to achieve ultimate customer loyalty. The LCT Operations Director will be accountable for the Services P&L, the Customer projects execution and the operational financial targets in the LCT.

Essential Responsibilities:        

Responsible for all GE Healthcare Services and customer projects activities- both direct and via Channel partners for all Healthcare businesses including Diagnostic Imaging, Ultrasound , Life Care Solutions- Clinical Devices.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Master’s degree (Engineering) with at least 5-8 years of leadership experience in a technical environment. OR

5- 8 years experince field sales or field service or OTR experience

Proven experience leading a team, managing customer relationships and/or managing a P&L or comparable business unit.

Ability to develop and execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet objectives

Proven leadership and ability to orchestrate resources and motivate teams

Experience in managing a large P&L/ business unit within large matrix organization

Proven ability to influence and drive change through exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Understanding of customer/marketplace and drivers that influence customer behavior

Previous direct report management/leadership experience

Ability to resolve complex issues within functional area and/or area of expertise

Ability to develop and execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet objectives

Direct customer relationship experience

Job Title: Field Service Leader – Sub Saharan Africa

Role Summary/Purpose:            

The Sub Sahara Field Service Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day regional execution of quality field service work in Sub-Sahara and will support the development of strategic initiatives for future growth.

Essential Responsibilities:        

– Establish outstanding level of quality in execution phase taking the ownership of the Site Activities Execution into the region and implementing the procedure described in the Quality Management System for Operation Excellence

– Drive excellence in the core operating foundations (EHS, Compliance, Quality), Working directly with EHS, compliance and quality leadership on operational rhythms and issues as they arise. Ensure all laws, regulations and guidelines are followed.

– Develop short and long-range business plans based on P&L forecasts and region business commitments (i.e. number of resources, training plans, logistics, direct hires, technical support, planning etc.)

– Support Leadership Regional Team and customer needs for field service execution, building Strong relation and process with Field Service ITO and OTR P&Ls Organization (TMS & DTS) to have a continuous control of the workload (backlog & forecast), highlighting well in advance the needs in terms of personnel and of training for personnel.

– Meet business financial Targets such as FSE utilization, Costs, worked hours, OCPH are achieved.

– Work with the HR and Resources teams to grow the regional pool of resources and support the assigned Service Managers leading the management of regional FSEs according to the local business requirements.

– Liaise with internal GE groups and business units across the globe to develop strong relationships for execution quality and productivity

– Coordinate the Regional Team assuring the achievement of On Time Start, On Time Duration, As Built Drawing closure, Technical Briefing, Technical De-Briefing targets are achieved and guarantee the mobilizations in compliance with immigration regulations into the assigned countries.

– Interact with the other Regional Leaders, Operational Excellence and Fulfillment teams to support the FSEs demand and guarantee the assignment of right skills to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements:

– Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Discipline from accredited college or university

– At least 7 years of experience in a field leadership role in service or project management

– Proved knowledge of SSA Oil&Gas Industry e Business dynamics

– Ability to travel 25% to 50% of the time

Job Title: Project Lead

Role Summary/Purpose:            

The person shall be responsible for developing and managing an effective and efficient hardware refurbishment program for recovered SSPE. The Project Lead shall ensure that the project is delivered on time and to the required quality standard. She/he will ensure the project is effectively resourced, and managed in parallel with other workshop activities. The Project Lead is also responsible for managing the work of sub-contractors / 3rd party vendors, managing and expediting spares.

Role Summary/Purpose:

To maintain, assemble and test GE Rental Tooling to a high standard adhering to all shop work pack procedures, quality and HSE polices. Reporting to the Cell Lead – Rental Shop for day to day work priorities

Essential Responsibilities:        

The Tooling Maintenance Specilait will be responsible for:

The maintenance, assembly and testing of Subsea Rental tooling as specified in shop work packs.

Accurate sign off of shop work packs for full quality control of work carried out.

Producing quality goods on time as stipulated in shop work pack

Ensuring that area of work is maintained hazard free and tidy

Participating in continual improvements for safety and throughput from Rental Tool shop

In this role you will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

Develop opportunities for reducing operating expenses

Actively participate in safety initiatives

Qualifications/Requirements:

A university engineering degree within Manufacturing/Mechanical

Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems

3 year plus experience in Subsea maintenance environment.

Self-disciplined, cooperative manner with the capacity to work to written procedures

High level of HSE awareness with certification in slinging and lifting, pressure testing, manual handling.

A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required.

Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria
