Job description
Our client is looking for a ‘Strategic Sales Professional’ within a broad business/product area who will be responsible for generating orders and revenue by persuading customer to buy. The successful candidate will manage the customer relationship for key accounts and will develop account strategies and drive the implementation of it.
The role consists in identifying products and/or solutions to meet customer needs at an optimum profitability. There is a need to build an understanding of customers key business drivers therefore using this knowledge for developing and creating profitable business.
The successful candidate will acts as a relationship manager, sales person, business developer and operational manager for major customers. This person will manage effective relationships at senior executive levels with Operators or if ‘selling out’ with partners, resellers/VARs, distributors.
Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum eight (8) years telecom sales experience.
Proven track record of developing new business and penetrating new business.
Experience selling network solutions and managing long sales cycles, from initial solution position to RFP response, contract negotiations and order generation.
Proven success selling data and optical networking and the business benefits to carriers
Strong presentation and business skills
Ability to demonstrate the value of solutions to customers
