You are smart, savvy and an open-minded pro-active problem solver. You think big but have exceptional attention to detail. You are an all rounder with a sharp analytical mind and creative flair. Past startup experience is desired.

Responsibilities

    Team Player: Work with the City/Regional GM to continually grow and optimize the business, work with technical and marketing teams to ensure
    Business Intelligence and Management: Extract business insights from sound data analysis. Manage, improve, and/or create our Lagos business operations/processes.
    Admin: Implement and monitor detailed operational and financial metrics, budgeting, and analyses.
    Partnerships: Identify and develop business partnerships relevant to our Lagos operations
    Guide and manage the driver and customer relationship teams to engage both sides of our community – from creating driver recruitment events to new marketing strategies
    Quality Assurance: Identity technical or systematic issues and immediately create plans to mitigate them and communicate better
    Technology Interface: Develop a thorough understanding of the Afro app and all systems. The driver app, customer app and the back end system/CRM.
    Driver Support: Help drivers prioritise their times and ensure efficient supply allocation. Step in when there are any customer issues. Help drivers interaction with customer.
    Community Engagement: Identify any potential customer dissatisfaction, using metrics from ratings and other insights, coordinating with community manager and support functions to improve the customer experience.

Desired Skills and Experience

    3 – 5 years working experience, in an operational role. Startup experience very attractive.
    Demonstrated creative problem-solving and collaborative execution
    Experience working with a high-growth technology business in areas of operations, business intelligence, customer experience will be a plus.
    Strong understanding of business operations and analysis. Expert mastery of Excel. Significant experience in business intelligence, financial modeling or data science will be an advantage.
    Technically confident, you rapidly learn or improve new systems and processes.
    You’re a people person – you view turning disappointed customers and drivers into advocates as a constant challenge.
    You are bold, daring and with a natural flare that makes you fun to work with.
    You have passion and enthusiasm to get things done.
