Job description
a) The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and developing real estate projects, in conjunction with stakeholder requirements.
b) The project manager will ensure activities are effectively resourced and manages relationships with a wide range of groups (including all project contributors).
Key Responsibilities:
Leading of projects involving civil and associated works for infrastructure development.
Ensure that project meets specifications, quality standards, budget and schedule requirements.
Enabling the implementation of infrastructure development from conceptual design through to completion and handover.
Management and execution of contracts liaising with local authorities for building permits and services provision.
Ensure that company’s safety, quality and environmental policies are implemented and applied at all stages of project especially during design stage and targets are achieved while executing projects.
Responsible for all civil engineering works, appointment of external consultants and contractors; approval of design, details drawings, specifications and bill of quantities.
Issue tenders reports, provide clarifications, review tenders, appoint contractors as per procedures, issue payment certificates, follow up on Warranty issues if any.
Responsible for determining priorities after discussion with end users and management and manage different projects accordingly keeping bigger picture in mind.
Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Project management in civil engineering works.
PMP certification is an added advantage.
Must have Civil Engineering Qualification.
Should have Good personality and Communication skills.
Understands the Government approval process for construction works in UAE
Working experience in Dubai is an added advantage.
