Mountain Top University (MTU), Ogun State is a new private university in Nigeria with tremendous
promise to be one of the leading universities in Africa within the next few years. The Proprietor of the University is the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries MFM.

MTU is envisioned as “a dynamic centre of academic excellence in the liberal tradition for the production of top-rate, morally sound graduate of distinction who will be globally competitive for outstanding impact on the Nigerian societal and global development” Its mission is the provision of excellent facilities for the training of men and women in various academic, professional and vocational discipline.

The University shall take off with two Colleges; (1. College of Basic and Applied Science. 2. College of Humanities, Management and Social Science), in October, 2015

The Board of Trustees and the Governing Council of Mountain Top University MTU invites applications from suitably qualified candidates with cognate experience in university teaching, research and administration for the teaching staff position mentioned below:

Job Position: Professor (UASS 7)

Location: Ogun State

Qualification / Experience

    Candidates must have been an Associate Professor for Three (3) years and possess a Doctorate Degree in the relevant area with at least 10 years of University teaching and research experience.
    Must have a good record of scholarly publication in reputable journals.
    Administrative experience is also required.

Job Position: Associate Professor (UASS 6)

Location: Ogun

Qualification / Experience

    Candidates must have been a Senior Lecturer for at least Three (3) years and possess a Doctorate Degree in the relevant area with at least Eight (8) years experience in University teaching and research.
    Must have a good record of scholarly publication in reputable journals.
    Administrative experience is also required.

Job Position: Senior Lecturer (UASS 5)

Location: Ogun State

Qualification / Experience

    Candidates must a Doctorate Degree in the relevant area with at least Five (5) years experience in University teaching and research experience.
    Must have a good record of scholarly publication in reputable journals.

Job Position: Lecturer I (UASS 4)

Location: Ogun State

Qualification / Experience

    Must have a Doctorate Degree in the relevant area with at least Four (4) years of teaching and research experience in the relevant areas in University or comparable institution of higher learning
    Candidate must have been a Lecturer II for at least Three (3) years.

Job Position: Lecturer II (UASS 3)

Location: Ogun State

Qualification / Experience

    Candidate must have a Doctorate Degree in the relevant area with at least Three (3) years of teaching and research experience in the relevant areas in University or comparable institution of higher learning.
    Scholarly publications in relevant field in a reputably journals will be an added advantage

Job Position: Assistant Lecturer (UASS 2)

Location: Ogun State

Qualification / Experience

    Candidate must possess a good first Degree and a Master’s Degree in the relevant field.
    Candidates must have registered for P.hD in any recognised University.

    Names and Addresses of Three (3) Referees (One of whom should be the Head of the establishment where the applicant currently works).
