Job Summary

  • The Diamond Enterprise Network is launching a recruitment drive
    aimed at increasing the number of Sub Saharan Africans in its work
    force.
  • This commitment to hire Sub Saharan Africans reflects the
    Enterprise’s senior leadership commitment for a diverse workforce in
    which African nationals can play a key role in fighting poverty and
    increasing shared prosperity.
  • Employment opportunities will be in various technical areas and
    professional streams for talented and diverse young professionals and
    mid-career level professionals to contribute and grow their skills in a
    career in international development.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Masters degree
  • At least 5 years Experience

Job Title: Welfare Officer
Location:
Lagos
Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Company Welfare Officer is expected to have knowledge of the following:

  • Knowledge of core and relevant legislation, such as the Labour and Employment Act.
  • Basic knowledge of roles and responsibilities of local statutory agencies (social services and the police).
  • The Welfare Officer should have full contact details for their local agencies.

Roles

  • Assist the Company to fulfill its responsibilities to safeguard staff and customers and to implement its Safe guarding Policy.
  • To be the first point of contact for staff and customers where incidents or concerns of poor practice are identified.
  • Implement the Company’s reporting and recording procedures.
  • Maintain contact details for local services and police and the Area Committees.
  • Sit on the Company’s management committee.
  • Ensure confidentiality is maintained.
  • Promote anti-discriminatory practice.
  • Basic knowledge of and/or familiarity with the pertinent legislation and Government guidance relevant to this role.

  • Ability to promote Company’s policy, procedures and resources

Qualification

  • Minimum of B.Sc.
  • Any other qualifying exam regarding this field is an added advantage.

Job Title: System Engineer
Location:

Job Description

  • Systems Engineer help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot rapidly and expanding infrastructure.
  • You will be part of a talented team of engineers that
    demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical
    infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability,
    performance and security.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
  • Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
  • Monitor and test application performance for potential
    bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to
    implement those fixes.
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
  • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
  • Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support.
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

Requirement

  • B.Sc/MS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
