KPMG in

Job Title:  Head Hunter/Executive Recruiter

 

This
jobholder is to run a dedicated implementation unit for mobilising
human resources for the entire area of innovation, particularly its
focus sectors but also ancillary services. The unit is to facilitate and
keep abreast of skills development required for ceaseless flow of
skilled labor/talents into the business cluster. The unit’s activities
are to be guided by an already established framework and supported by a
robust online talent sourcing/networking portal. Key responsibilities
will be to:

• Research into the business cluster clients’ manpower needs.
• Devise strategies to ensure that the Company renders support in addressing the manpower needs.
• Review the established framework and associated implementation plan, and lead the execution of the plan.
• Plan and implement strategies for monitoring skills advancements for the cluster’s focus sectors.
• Track and identify prospective candidates using a variety of channels.
• Optimally utilise the online talent sourcing/networking portal for
the human resources mobilisation scheme ensuring that the portal is
updated with all latest features that will enhance its functionality.
• Administer the Scheme’s brand management and public relations to include extensive usage of social media.
• Work with relevant departments of the Company to ensure that the portal is effectively advertised to prospective users.
• Plan and implement strategies for offering recruitment and related services to the business cluster tenants.
• Network and build long-lasting client relationships

Qualifications, experience and attributes:
• A minimum of seven (7) years’ work experience as a head hunter/recruiter with deep understanding of recruitment processes.
• Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting software and candidate databases.
• Strong knowledge of candidates’ selection methods.
• Previous experience with candidate sourcing tools and methods.
• Excellent knowledge of area of expertise (market status, trends, best practices).
• Client focus along with relationship building skills.
• Business acumen and market insight.
• Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills.

Job Title:   Lead, Marketing and Business Development

 

Reporting
to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, the successful
candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies
for harnessing relevant company resources (brand collaterals, etc.) and
networks to create new products and services. Inherent in this will be
to attract suitable delivery partners and clients in line with set goals
and objectives. Key responsibilities will be to:

• Develop, disseminate and monitor the implementation of the Company’s marketing and business development strategy.
• Formulate standards, policies, guidelines and processes for marketing
and business development for the Company in alignment with corporate
plans.
• Review all relevant regulations, highlighting key
imperatives to ensure the right offerings are pitched in line with the
development objectives of the Company.
• Provide excellent client
service and build relationships with investors and tenants in order to
attain targeted revenue, profitability and growth.
• Oversee the development and lifecycle management of the Company’s business propositions.
• Identify requirements of partners and stakeholders, as well as ensure
the right mechanisms are put in place to maintain good relations with
them.
• Evaluate and track the development and performance of team
members, so as to ensure productivity and achievement of business
results.

Qualifications, experience and attributes:
• A good first degree in a relevant discipline from a reputable
University. A Masters’ in Business Administration will be of advantage.
• A minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in Product Development, Marketing and Sales.
• Experience in or deep understanding of the Real Estate sector will be of added advantage.
• Proven relevant networks/contacts will be of advantage.
• Demonstrable experience in team leadership and supervision.
• Creativity to maximise all assets – people, knowledge and processes – commercially.
• Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.

 

Job Title:  Head/Executive Director of Foundation

 

The
Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation established to facilitate
social responsibility initiatives associated with the Company’s mandate.
Major focus areas include supporting rural communities with the use of
technology; promoting science and technology education; and encouraging
the use of environment-friendly energy solutions and other sustainable
initiatives.

Working under the guidance of the Foundation’s
Board of Directors, the Head/Executive Director will develop and manage
all aspects of the affairs of the Foundation, including updating of
operational frameworks for the smooth and effective administration of
the Foundation. An intrinsic part of this role will be to establish and
maintain contact with key stakeholders, oversee fundraising drives and
manage programs execution. Other responsibilities will be to:


Provide managerial and technical oversight for the Foundation,
including human capital management, projects logistics, finance and
administration.
• Prepare and administer strategic business plans
and program budgets, as well as oversee the formulation and execution of
effective policies.
• Oversee the execution of all programs through internal resources and external implementation partners.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Support the Board of Directors on its governance role.
• Effectively manage all assets of the Foundation.

Qualifications, experience and attributes:
• A Masters’ degree in a relevant discipline. Possession of a
professional program/project management certification will be an
advantage.
• A minimum of twelve (12) years’ experience, five (5) of which must have been in a senior management position.
• Hands-on experience from reputable charity-based organisation(s)/project(s) will also be an advantage.
• Extensive experience in research, program design and project management.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Proven ability to network within the business and technology community.
• Maturity and tact, including the ability to relate with different levels of authority, internally and externally.
• Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.

Job Title:   Specialist, Innovation Management

 

Reporting
to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, the successful
candidate will have direct responsibility for the design, direction and
administration of the Company’s innovation and entrepreneurial
management strategy. A key component of this role will be to foster,
embed and propagate a robust environment with institutionalised and
sustainable processes and procedures for channelling innovation and
entrepreneurship across all its focus areas. Key responsibilities will
be to:

• Develop a backbone of programs, projects, workshops,
seminars, etc. in conjunction with external partners for the advancement
of the innovation/entrepreneurship ecosystem.
• Facilitate the
selection of Advisors to be called upon when required to provide
specialist support to platforms, programmes and projects.

Articulate and generate a knowledge pool blueprint for the provision of
Advisory and Consulting expertise in thematic areas to similar business
clusters, especially on innovation management set-up.
• Devise
concepts for research and development across the Developer’s focus
sectors, geared towards tangible contributions that influence relevant
policies.
• Own the sustainable engagements process with key local,
regional and international strategic partners in the Academia, Private
and Public sectors e.g. Research Centres, in order to stimulate
solutions identification as well as the development of new ideas and
partnerships.

Qualifications, experience and attributes:
• A Masters’ degree in a related discipline from a reputable
institution. Ph.D. and Project Management Certification will be of
advantage.
• Extensive industry experience in innovation management.
• In-depth technical knowledge and practical understanding of entrepreneurship.
• Ability to think strategically and holistically, and to appreciate the impact of various policies, issues and solutions.
• Strong strategic focus, as well as process-orientation.
• Excellent research skills.
• Proven stakeholder, public relations and communications experience.
