Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Lagos
Qualifications
- B.Sc Accounting/HND Accounting, ACA qualified.
- Minimum of 5 years post
- Qualification cognate experience. MBA is an added advantage.
Job Functions
- Preparing management accounts and statements
- Balance sheet account reconciliations
- Manage subordinates, including day-to-day communication
- And motivation as well as succession planning and performance management
- Report on company assets and liabilities including
- Carrying out continuous reviews of working accounting practices and processes to ensure efficient and cost effective operations
- Ongoing review of cash flow and production of forecasts
- Produce annual statutory accounts in management
- Working with all departments and the management team to
- Help make financial decisions
- Making sure spending is in line with budgets
- Analyzing the company’s financial performance and making longer term forecasts
- Recommending ways of cutting costs
- Provide management reporting for decision-making,
- Including project appraisal, evaluation and post-implementation analysis
- Produce management accounts, budgets, cash flows,
- Monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentaries
- Assist in the production of the annual budget and
- Periodic forecasting
- Accounts format
- Manage capital expenditure
- Report on company assets and liabilities including
