Requirements

  • A good Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • A Master’s degree in supply chain management, MBA or MSc., Finance would be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in procurement/supply
    chain management within construction or Out-of-Home advertising industry
  • Possession of project management (PMP or PRINCE2) and/or supply chain management certification is required

Responsibilities

  • Effective selection and management of suppliers/vendors in order to achieve the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Implement new or improved supply chain processes.
  • Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing,
    material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, or
    receiving.
  • Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with
    other functional areas, such as sales & marketing, finance,
    operations or quality assurance.
  • Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows.
  • Design or implement plant warehousing strategies for procured materials or finished products.
  • Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality.
  • Participate in the coordination of engineering changes, product
    line extensions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely
    transitions in material or production flow.
  • Design or implement supply chains that support business strategies
    adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or
    cost reduction strategies.
  • Conduct life cycle analyses to determine the environmental impacts of products, processes, or systems.
  • Efficient transportation & distribution practices to ensure seamless operations in the company.
  • Forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products.
  • Identify opportunities to reuse or recycle materials in order to
    minimize consumption of new materials, minimize waste, or to convert
    wastes to by-products
  • Establishing and sustaining relationships with Client and vendors
  • Processing Approvals, Reporting and Documentations
  • Forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products.
  • Timely customer communication and technology-enabled visibility to
    allow the company monitor product flows and collaboratively respond to
    potential delivery problems.
  • Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or
    changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
  • Develop material costs forecasts or standard cost lists and
    negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight
    forwarders.
  • Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
  • Design, implement, or oversee product take back or reverse
    logistics programs to ensure products are recycled, reused, or
    responsibly disposed.
