Job Title: General Manager/Entity Head

Line Manager: Group CEO

Position Description:

Our client is an Oil and Gas company (which is part of a larger group) with a collection of multiple revenue lines organized into product clusters serving private sector customers in the downstream oil and gas sector. This role, GM/Entity head is responsible for managing key customer relationships and day to day management of the company. Working in line with the group’s vision, the General Manager/Entity Head will provide business strategy and direction for expansion of the company while empowering and inspiring an exceptional team of business development leads (VPs of Business Development)

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in corporate strategic planning and implement strategic goals and objectives for the entity
Working with the program managers to support implementation of entity projects
Drive revenue optimization opportunities in deployed solutions/platforms to increase Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) to the group
Manage entity management activities and day to day operations of the entity
Collaborate with HR and hiring manager to identify internal and external high potential candidate(s) for the business and the group
Working with entity and group’s Business Development teams to expand entity by maximizing existing and new relationships in getting new opportunities for the entity
Manage all top level clients ensuring Entity meets and surpasses their expectation
Working with group finance and corporate investment teams in creating entity budgets, forecasts and funding needs

Required Experience

Demonstrated understanding and application of effective selling strategies and techniques
Over 10 years relevant work experience in progressive positions in the oil and gas sector
At least six years demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams (including developing and evaluating employees to achieve corporate and personal objectives)
Experience managing complex projects
Minimum 3 years’ start up exposure
A bachelor’s degree from any reputable University
A masters’ degree in Business Administration
Strong leadership, inspirational and managerial skills
Sound Judgment and on-your-feet decision-making ability
Demonstrated relationship management experience (especially with top management)

Job Title: Deputy-Chief Technology Officer              

Line Manager: Chief Technology Officer

Type: Full time                                                                              

Location: Lagos

Position Purpose: Together with the Chief Technology Officer, the Deputy Chief Technology Officer is responsible for guiding and managing the use and deployment of technology, including both strategic planning and operational delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

The Deputy CTO assists the CTO in providing overall leadership for the Technology department, and serves in the CTO role when CTO is not available.
Responsible for information technology planning, coordination, budgeting, and adherence to technical architecture; in addition to management and oversight of large-scale information technology initiatives in the Company.
Responsible for the technical operations across the organization including strategy, architecture, software engineering, information technology and technology operations.
Oversees the provision of IT services, and the overall technology direction within the company, in the delivery of services, as required.
Performs periodic evaluation of the overall operational effectiveness of the IT services provided, and oversees the analysis of systems within the area of interest.
Manages and organizes the workflow and resources to maximize customer services and operational efficiency.
Prepares analytical reports, attends meetings of all levels, and adheres to transparency and performance-based budgeting principles and requirements.

Required Experience

Ideal candidate is a technology veteran, with over 15 years of hands on Application Development experience
Versatile with strong DevOps skills incorporating server hosting and infrastructure for Enterprise systems
Microsoft stack experience is nice to have
Experience with large enterprise systems is critical
ERP System or enterprise payment system type of software development experience is nice to have
Experience with TDD, Agile, SDLC, and contemporary cloud platform options such as AWS, Azure, etc
Experience with Analytics, Big data trends

Job Title: Creative Executive

Job Summary :

Responsible for delivering a consistent voice for all company assets, including website copy, newsletter articles, advertisement, etc. Develops print, electronic and web communication to support company goals and client needs, evaluating and building upon PR and Marketing strategies. Participates in concept development for various communications channels, developing ideas and messages to persuade at various points of contact with company products and services.

Key Responsibilities

Would also double as Social Media Executive.
Write copy for clients’ ads, brochures, TV spots, radio, and other forms of advertising.
Research the technical properties of products.
Determine what makes products appealing to consumers.
Develop unique, new concepts.
Conceive, develop and produce effective advertising campaigns.
Work with account executives to determine client needs and budget.
Ensure campaign stays within budget.
Create and present storyboards of ideas.
Work with art directors to create ideas.
Write clear and persuasive copy for websites, brochures, ads, and other means of advertising.
Update digital media with timely content.
Perform search engine optimization techniques.

Job Title: General Manager/CEO

The General Manager/Chief Executive shall be expected to provide day to day direction to the organisation and shall be responsible for the performance of the company . He will be reporting to the Board of Directors and his responsibilities shall include:

Formulating and successfully implementing company policy;
Directing strategy towards the profitable growth and operation of the company;
Developing strategic operating plans that reflect the longer-term objectives and priorities established by the board;

In addition to providing leadership for the local Executive Leadership Team, he will be required to work collaboratively with the broader Executive Team and key management within the Group
The Person

Should hold a first degree and an MBA or a Masters in a relevant discipline; minimum of 18 years total working experience with at least 7 years in the manufacturing outfit.
At least 7 years’ experience at senior level within Food and Beverage industry.
Highly motivated, results driven, with a passion for business, skilled at communicating a clear vision for growth and can capitalise and sustain the momentum that is being created within the organization.
Highly skilled business leader who will improve focus and profitably grow share within a very competitive market. He should also be able to demonstrate proven experience of managing operations at a senior management/director level within the engineering, FMCG, and/or manufacturing industries for at least 5-10 years.
The preferred candidate must be hungry for success in this capacity.
