Job Title: Architectural Project Manager
Location: Nigeria
Job Purpose:
· Manage, organize and coordinatesproject teams and team assignments to complete architectural projects
Responsibilities:
· Manages, organizes and coordinates project teams and team assignments to complete architectural projects
· Responsible for ensuring that construction documents are in concert with design intent
· Responsible for project schedules and budgets.
· Resolves complex technical/design issues and provides guidance to team.
· Possess strong skills in architectural detailing.
· Coordinates activity and communication between project team, engineering consultants and other disciplines.
· Responsible for building and system concepts and documentation process from schematics through construction administration phases within the discipline.
· Responsible to lead discipline project team members or key areas of project development as assigned.
· Prepare and monitor project status reports when assigned as a discipline team leader.
· Conduct material and product research as required for project development.
· Prepare and document required code research for project.
· Attend project meetings as necessary.
· Document interpretation and submittal reviews during bidding and construction administration.
· Produce and coordinate quality architectural and engineering services within a project team concept.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Education/Experience:
· BSc. degree in Architecture
· Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal skills
· Excellent people skills and an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude
· Have a strong work ethic and keen attention to detail
· Have a passion for good design
· Resourcefulness in solving problems
· Excellent writing and verbal communications skills
· Have a successful track record of completing large-scale multi-family, commercial, institutional or health care projects on schedule and within budget
· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with self-initiation and minimal instruction
