Job Description
- To manage the procurement process and provide the company with a competitive advantage in all markets in which it operates, enabling the company to realize its growth and profitability targets.
- To formulate and drive a consistent approach towards sourcing, purchasing and tendering activity within the business, ultimately ensuring that value for money is maximised and cost savings are generated.
- Key success measurement is the ability to demonstrate annual cost savings via commercial, negotiation and strategic initiatives.
Main Responsibilities
- Proactively work with departmental heads to rapidly identify major procurement opportunities and deliver quick deals that will enhance profitability within the business
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety and security regulations and policies.

Requirements

- Experience – Minimum of 10 years procurement experience. 5 years of which must be procurement management experience, specifically people management. Of the 10 years’ experience, at least 3 years must have been spent in a senior management role.
- Professional Membership or Registration – Membership of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply
Job Title: Head of Operation (Deputy General Manager)

- To plan, direct and manage the performance of the company’s operations, as dictated by the overall business strategy, so as to maintain and develop business growth in accordance with the agreed business strategy

- Implement, maintain and manage an effective system of controls throughout the department, covering non- financial as well as financial controls
- Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly reports in regard to financial and physical resources, administration and budgeting in order to optimize opportunities, outputs and revenue.

- To closely work with the MD to aid efforts geared at ensuring the proper articulation of business strategies and the attainment of periodic goals and objectives role.
- Oversees administrative procedures and processes for the MD’s Office, usually acting as the administrative liaison with internal and/or external sources, and represents the MD at various meetings or external events as may be delegated.
