Title: Deputy Chief of Party

Location Abuja

Dexis is seeking an experienced Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) to provide overall program support to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Nigeria. The work location for this position will be in Abuja, Nigeria. This is a long-term position expected to start in 2016. This position is contingent upon award.

Responsibilities

Oversee the project’s financial and administrative systems including reporting and finances
Recruit and manage the project’s long-term personnel and short-term technical assistance
Liaise with Dexis home office program management unit to provide high quality program support to the field office
Manage the logistics of the office space and project equipment
Qualifications

Master’s degree in business/public administration, management, accounting, or finance with at least five (5) years of experience in managing and coordinating development programs, or a bachelor’s degree and at least ten (10) years of experience
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, time sensitive, high-quality activities and work collaboratively with institutional, government, and private sector partners and stakeholders
Experience as an administrator for a USAID program of at least comparable size and scope preferred
Excellent communications skills, written and oral
Deep familiarity with Nigeria’s culture, society, and development context or that of similar countries in the region
English proficiency is required
Must be authorized to work in Nigeria



Title: Knowledge Management Advisor

Dexis is seeking experienced a Learning and Knowledge Management Advisor to provide technical advice and institutional learning and knowledge management services to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Nigeria. The work location for this position will be in Abuja, Nigeria. This is a long-term position expected to start in 2016. This position is contingent upon award.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, plan, and implement institutional learning activities relevant to the achievement of the Mission’s goals and objectives, such as special studies, briefings, communities of practices, learning events and seminars
Strengthen systems and processes that promote and facilitate efficient learning and knowledge-sharing
Track best practices in knowledge management and adult learning to incorporate new or improved learning tools and approaches
Gather and disseminate knowledge and information on best practices for high priority, crosscutting Mission activities
Qualifications

Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible, professional work experience in institutional learning, research, analysis, knowledge management, or communications
MA in a field relevant to development assistance, such as development studies, organizational development, communications, or a closely related field
Deep familiarity with Nigeria’s culture, society, and development context or that of similar countries in the region
English proficiency is required
Must be authorized to work in Nigeria



Job Title: Senior Evaluation Specialist

Dexis is seeking an experienced Senior Evaluator to provide monitoring and evaluation (M&E) technical services to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Nigeria. The work location for this position will be in Abuja, Nigeria. This is a long-term position expected to start in 2016. This position is contingent upon award.

Qualifications

A master’s degree in the social sciences
At least 8 years of progressively more responsible experience in the design, management, and implementation of evaluations (impact and performance), analyses and assessments, including the designing of the evaluation methodology, designing and implementing quantitative and qualitative methodologies, conducting population based surveys, developing participatory data collection methods and protocols, conducting data analysis, and utilizing data quality verification techniques for large development projects.
Excellent data analysis skills including good command of statistics, sampling methodologies, and statistical analysis software such as SPSS, STATA, Epi Info, etc.
Experience in the gender dimensions of evaluations.
Experience in planning, designing, and managing performance of international development assistance programs
Deep familiarity with Nigeria’s culture, society, and development context or that of similar countries in the region
English proficiency is required
