Title: Marketing and Business Studies Teacher

Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Competencies

A good first degree – B.Ed, BA, BSc or higher in relevant discipline
A post graduate degree in Educational Teaching qualification
At least 8-10 years quality teaching experience within the relevant discipline
A highly reputable international school
Teaching experience to cover local and international curricular, e.g. WASCE, IGCSE
Evidence of outstanding professional practice to include: attainment profile of students taught, personal profile of professional development, en-to-date and excellent subject matter expertise
Computer literacy and evidence of the use of ICT to support teaming
Ability to bring classroom teaching alive and to inspire students
Ability to multi-task effectively, good organization and coordination skills, and good interpersonal and communication skills.

Title: Director of Boarding and Student Welfare

Job Descriptions

As Director of Boarding and Student Welfare. you will be a key member of the Core Leadership Team (CLT), and will professionally lead the boarding house staff in a way that supports the strategic aims and reflect the standards of the school.
You will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of the boarding houses which include student management, fostering of a professional staff culture and strong relationships with parents and guardians.
You will also be expected to take up teaching roles.
You will report directly to the Vice Principal (Pastoral/ Student Welfare),
Key Responsibilities

Provide, in conjunction with the VP(Pastoral/Student Welfare). appropriate professional leadership of the boarding staff team in line with the school strategic, plan, vision and policies.
Implement, participate in and assist the VP in developing programmes, procedures and policies that contribute towards the on-going improvements and effective management of the boarding houses
Ensure compliance with the school Health and Safety Policy and Procedures
Assist the VP in overseeing the organization and management of schools events
Ensure compliance of the school Child Protection Policy and act as ‘Named Person’
Support heads of boarding houses and house parents by dealing promptly and professionally with their concerns regarding the students welfare.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Competencies

A first degree or higher – BEd., BA, B.Sc, MA, M.Sc
A post graduate diploma in Education/Teaching qualification
Minimum of l0 years experience with at least 5 years in a similar role
Evidence of outstanding professional practice in a reputable international school
Experience in managing student affairs; you must have a passion for educating and interacting with youth and children
A solid understanding of children and teenagers’ developmental progress
Sensitivity and commitment to the care, well-being and success of all students
Excellent people anti interpersonal stilts
Ability to work autonomously within a team environment
A dynamic and highly driven individual with strong communication and problem solving skills
Highly organized, with ability to; work under pressure, exercise initiative, exercise judgement and flexibility in dealing with competing priorities, needs and deadlines

Title: Assistant Board Secretary

Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Competencies

A good first degree – BA, B.Sc, HND in English, Mass Communication, Business Studies, Secretarial Studies or related discipline
A post graduate degree would be an added advantage
At least 3-5 years quality secretariat experience with a minimum of two years’ experience as executive secretary or administrative secretary in a reputable organization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate tactfully, take minutes at meetings and draft/compose memos, letters and write reports
Accurate typing of 55-60wpm and proficiency in MS Office productivity tools
Excellent organizational, coordination and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task and function effectively with minimal supervision
High integrity and ethical standards

Title: Vice Principal (Pastoral and Student Welfare)

Job Description

As Vice Principal (Pastoral and Student Welfare), you will be a key member of the school’s Core Leadership Team (CLT) and will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the various pastoral and academic elements are linked and that the school values of holistic and child contentedness are fully in evidence.
As VP you will be in charge of the pastoral well-being of all students particularly their care, and will support their academic success, successful engagement in all school activities and their general preparation for life, You will work in cooperation with and report directly to the Principal & CEO.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure the smooth and efficient day to day running of students after school programs
Deputize for the Principal as may be required
Implement and ensure operational effectiveness of the school’s pastoral policy
Establish and maintain standards and qualify of the Boarding facilities Oversee the design and quality of school Co-curricular programs
Monitor efficiency and effectiveness of the School clinic
Ensure compliance with the school Health and Safety Policy and Procedures Oversee the organization and management of school events
Ensure compliance of the school Child Protection Policy and act air ‘Named Person’
Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Competencies

A first degree or higher in Education or the Social Sciences.
A post graduate degree in Psychology or Counselling writ be a very strong advantage.
Minimum of fifteen (15) years relevant professional experience na school environment,
Experience in managing student affairs, you must have a passion br educating and interacting with youth and children
A solid understanding of children and teenagers’ developmental progress
