Job Title: Fleet Manager
Location: Nigeria
Requirements
- The candidate must hold a first Degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or Social Science with minimum of Five (5) years’ experience in Fleet Management in similar organization.
Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Planning and leading the operation of the organization fleet.
- Performing schedule checks for all the vehicles.
- Maintaining a service and maintenance records for all the vehicles.
- Managing and controlling vehicles performance and costs.
- Recommending vehicles that need replacement and arranging disposal.
- Monitoring and controlling drivers’ behaviours.
- Maintaining vehicles for peak period operating condition by setting up schedule programme.
- The successful candidates will be required to manage the company fleet of heavy trucks.
Skills
In addition, the ideal candidate must:
- Have ability to direct operations of the company’s fleet.
- Create and implement performance procedures to work.
- Be able to withstand peak period pressure.
