Facilities Manager Vacancy in a World-Class Conglomerate in Lagos

We are a world-class conglomerate based in Lagos, Nigeria. In our quest to properly focus on our existing properties and embark on construction of new ones, have exciting position for Facilities Manager. The Facilities Manager will have responsibility for facilities maintenance and management of real estate complexes and equipment.

We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Facilities Manager

Location: Lagos

Experience

• Minimum of 8 years experience in facilities maintenance and management in real estate complexes or blocks of apartment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assess the current condition and maintain electrical, air conditioning, plumbing and other essential facilities and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of the condition of the equipment and other systems of the estate
• Ensure utilities bill are paid promptly.
• Develop a system for clearing, repairand maintenance of facilities.
• Ensure the safety of the building or establishment against fire, flood and other hazards. Coordinate as necessary with other offices and units of the Company.
• Liaise with tenants of commercial properties
• Direct and plan essential central services such as reception, security, maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal, recycling etc.
• Plan best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new buildings, or re-organizing current premises
• Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise Ground maintenance and horticulture
• Create a schedule for regular evaluation of the facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other relevant field.
• Male candidate.
• Mid 30s to Late 40s.
• Professional certificate in Facilities Management.
