Life Skills Club Coordinator Job Vacancy at Mobilizing for Development (M4D

Mobilizing for Development (M4D) aims to support local governance and service delivery in 3 states namely, Kano, Kaduna and Jigawa. It sets out to provide capacity support for local government authorities (LGAs) and other policy makers and service providers as well as local-level community-based organizations (CBOs) and other local structures. M4D aims to work on both demand and supply-side governance reform: on the demand-side, it aims to strengthen citizen capacity to influence development, while on the supply-side, it aims to support policy makers and service providers’ ability to respond to citizen demand, whether it is in the form of responding to policy changes or request for improved service delivery.  This approach enhances both accountability and collective action.

Part of M4D’s work focuses on supporting PWD CBOs and Platforms of girls to organise, engage and demand equitable basic services and accountability, either directly to PMs and SPs or indirectly through established CBOs.

It is an aim of M4D to determine through this work, the most effective pathways for amplifying girls’ voices and to share and spread the lessons learned in this regard for wider uptake. In order to achieve this, the programme is seeking to fill the vacant position below:
