Job Title: FPSO Safety Officer


Oil and Gas Project Management, Engineering & Construction Management

Job description

  • Follow Permit to Work procedures
  • Manage safety reporting system on the unit
  • Update safe work procedures on board as deemed necessary
  • Organize and call for safety meetings, safety committee meetings, accident prevention committee meetings and prepares minutes of meeting
  • Manage oil and chemical spill clean-up equipment
  • Manage pollution response
  • Monitor equipment, systems and procedures to reduce risks for pollution
  • Monitor all gas and oxygen-measuring equipment is well maintained and calibrated as per manufactures instruction and ensure that personnel assigned to use the equipment are trained and supervised
  • Ensure that personnel executing hazardous work are competent and duly informed of the work procedures
  • Monitor crew lists, and other documentation related to FPSO personnel movement
  • Liaise with OIM regarding the units security plan
  • Undertake training relevant to the position requirements

Job Title: Bosun


Oil and Gas Project Management, Engineering & Construction Management

Job description

  • Follow PTW system, rules, regulations and work procedures applicable to his responsibilities
  • Instruct and supervise the GP personnel (Able Seamen, Ordinary Seamen) in accordance with company safety policy and quality standards
  • To train deck crew in the various work tasks as required through close supervision of each individual performance
  • To keep all deck department tools, equipment, stores etc. in good and tidy order and to maintain stock records
  • Instruct and supervise deck crew for proper lift transfer techniques, and safety related issues
  • Ensure that good housekeeping is maintained throughout deck department
  • Assist in the maintenance of lifting appliances, cranes, running gear, slings, shackles, etc.
  • Assist in mooring and unmooring of export tankers
  • Assist with cargo loading and offloading operations as required
  • Assist in helicopter operations as required
  • Assist in the maintenance of process, engine room or other equipment as required
