Downstream Oil Marketing Job for Managing Director – Lubricant

A leading Downstream Oil Marketing Conglomerate with a strong presence in Lubricant manufacturing and sales requires a Managing Director for its Lubricant subsidiary, who will be reporting to the Board of Directors of the Company.


We are recruiting to fill the position of:


Job Title: Managing Director – Lubricant

Job Profile

  • The ideal candidate will liaise with the Board to set and agree on the direction for growth and also provide strategic direction and oversight to the management team to drive profitable and sustainable growth.
Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering and other related field.
  • An MBA or other relevant post-graduate degree will be an added advantage

Responsibilities

  • Develop business plans, sales process, and strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Initiate and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets. Obtain high-level expertise and competitive advantages of Branded and unbranded lubricant products
  • Develop and implement marketing plans.
  • Generally manage the staff and the company.

Experience

  • Minimum of 20 years post qualification relevant sector experience or in FMCG with at least 10 years in senior management position.
  • Good Technical and Marketing/Sales knowledge in Lubricants and other petroleum products
