Job Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leads and controls skilled labor and work crews engaged in all activities concerned with the civil & construction works aspects of the project.
  • Ability to optimize resources (manpower, equipment and materials) to ensure efficient and timely completion of the works.
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow method statements and procedures, specifications, drawings, and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation.
  • Must be able to liaise with other discipline to ensure the optimum utilization of available work force, with the overall objective of successful completion of the project.
  • Ensures that work crews are properly supplied with tools, equipment and materials and prevents wastage and misuse of equipment, materials and tools.
  • Familiar with all company safety and QA/QC procedures, regulations and strictly enforces them with the workforce under his responsibility.
  • Performs any other task that may be assigned by management.

Academic Qualification and Work Experience

  • Minimum of OND or Diploma Certificate in Building, Civil, Construction Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in Oil & Gas facility construction works with at least 5 years of experience as Lead Civil & Construction Supervisor.

Job Summary

  • Supervises and leads crews/workers engaged in the Welding activities of the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Terminal facility including; LPG Bullet Tank connections, Piping Network (Compressed, Air, LPG Line and Water Sprinklers), Pipe Supports, Steel Fabrication and Erection works.
  • It will be a hands on role performing a variety of welding functions with the main focus being on the welding of carbon steel & seamless pipes & flanges (1/2” to 9” NB) according toASME IX which can be subjected to Radiograph of finished welds.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leads and controls skilled labor and work crews engaged in all activities concerned with the welding works aspects of the project.

  • Complete the initial assignment probation monitoring of welding operatives and arrange required initial NDE through the coordination of QNQC Welding Inspector Engineer.
  • Ensure that weld marking requirements are followed. Ensure completed welds are of acceptable visual quality, prior to rising WIR.
  • Complete surveys and provide information on welding operator’s performance.
  • Ensure the monitoring, witness and inspection requirements of the Quality Control Inspection plan are followed and the (WIR) Welding Inspection Requests and (RFI’s) Request for Inspection forms are raised in a timely manner.
  • Ensure WPS for particular work-scopes are displayed that the welding operators are aware of the requirements and comply with same.
  • Familiar with all company safety arid QA/QC procedures, regulations and strictly enforces them with the workforce under his responsibility.

Academic Qualification and Work Experience

  • Minimum Diploma Certificate or equivalent professional qualification in associated discipline.
  • 8-10 years experience in the Oil & Gas Oil and Gas industry, preferably within Petrochemical plants, Depot and associated facility, with at least 5 years of experience as Welding Supervisor.

  • Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys in order to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.
  • Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted on sites.
  • Direct or conduct surveys in order to establish legal boundaries for properties, based on legal deeds and titles.
  • Record the results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.
  • Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain.
  • Prepare or supervise preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys.
  • Plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements.
  • Coordinate survey data with those of engineering design, sub-contractor personnel, and others concerned with projects.

Job Summary

Supervises and pre-qualifies all crews/workers engaged in the Welding Operations of the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Terminal facility including; elaborating and coordinating the third party NDT inspection agency, welding specifications, and codes/standards for all welding procedures qualifications and reports.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review course and effects of welding defects and take remedial actions.
  • Review the radio-graphic film and all NOT reports on a daily basis.
  • Carry out audit of the approved Third Party NDT Inspection Company.
  • Review the inspection and testing methods and procedures for Radiographic, Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and Ultrasonic Inspections.
  • Witnessing of welder qualifications testing and procedures qualification testing.
  • Witnessing any remedial repair welding.
  • Reviewing of the welding summary reports.
  • Checking the hydrostatic test packages for NDT compliance prior to testing.
  • Advising the site subcontractors with regards to welding and testing.
  • Monitor any Post Weld Heat Treatment on site and review the completed test reporting.
  • Selection of welds for non destructive testing.
  • Recording and listing of defective welds.
  • Monitor the control and issue of welding electrodes.
  • Control the site welding supervisor.
  • Actively monitor site radiation safety and review day to day applications for x-raying of welds.
  • Coordinate the issue of non-conformance reports through the Project Manager.

Academic Qualification and Work Experience

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree Certificate or its equivalent in Material/Metallurgical/Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in Oil & Gas QA/QC Welding Inspection works with at least 5 years of experience as Lead Inspector.
