Job Descriptions 

• Estimating reserves and forecasting for property evaluations and development planning
• Performing reservoir characterization studies
• Recommending locations for drilling production and injection wells
• Designing and developing plans for drilling new wells and effective recovery
• Analysing pressure transients for effective optimization and recovery
• Designing and coordinating petrophysical studies
• Analysing the economics and risk assessments of major development programs
• Estimating reserves for producing properties
• Effective contributor to the team
• Providing career development advice to junior staff
• Carrying out reservoir simulation studies to optimize recoveries
• Predicting reserves and performance for well proposals
• Predicting and evaluating waterflood and/or enhanced recovery performance
• Developing and applying reservoir optimization techniques
• Developing cost-effective reservoir monitoring and surveillance programs

Expectations

• Minimum 10 years Reservoir Engineering experience with an upstream operator and preferably experience in Africa.
• Ideas generator with well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
• Team worker
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Reservoir Engineering or other relevant engineering degree
• Self-starter able to deliver results within short timeframes
