Job Title: Sage X3 Technical Support Consultant (Financials)

Overview:
A technical support consultant will work in a support role providing support throughout the company and Business Partners.
Responsibilities:
·         The person will be thoroughly knowledgeable about all aspects of Sage X3 software
·         Competent in working with operating systems and database schemas.
·         Would need to be very comfortable with business processes and terminology and very good at engaging and working with people at all levels in an organization.
·         Provide technical support and consultation to Business Partners
·         Assisting Business Partners over the phone to resolve Sage X3 or Sage Add-ons software issues.
·         Work with Business Partners and management to determine appropriate system configuration and setup.
·         Analyse and troubleshoot Sage X3 issues raised by Business Partners and resolve technical problems, documenting ticket actions and resolutions.
·         Conducting professional training Courses on Sage X3 modules and Add-ons
·         Testing of new software for bugs
·         Product demonstrations at workshops and conferences
·         Conduct technical audits of new installations before Go-Live
·         Classify, escalate and coordinate problem resolution
·         Continuously update technical knowledge and learn new products and feature sets
·         Document delivered solutions and update the knowledge database
·         Provide mentorship to junior consultants
·         Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
·         Sage X3 product specialist certification or similar level on other products
·         MS SQL ,Oracle database installation and administration
·         Linux / Unix / Windows Servers administration and configuration
·         Object Oriented – C#, Java and Visual Basic programming
·         Previous experience with Financial systems will be an added advantage
