Job Title: Special Projects Manager

Location: Niger

Summary

  • To support this mission, the Fund for Global Health is recruiting a Special Projects Manager to lead and implement a series of innovations in rural health delivery.
  • Based on performance, this role has the potential for a promotion and increased salary. The Special Projects Manager position is based in Minna, Niger State or nearby.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Work effectively with health workers and their managers
  • Facilitate development of new products and services
  • Implement computer-based processes to improve management
  • Facilitate development of new screening tools for hiring health personnel

Required Qualifications

  • Strong medical knowledge
  • Fluent in Hausa
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel
  • Ability to ride a motorcycle or a willingness to learn
  • Candidate must be prepared and willing to spend considerable time visiting villages
  • Good business and/or commercial skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including good professional judgment, responsible, and effective communication skills


Job Title: Nigeria Country Program Director for U.S. Based Health Organization

Location: Niger

Job Descriptions

  • The Country Program Director position will manage the Fund for Global Health’s Nigeria program. This position will be based in Minna, Niger State. There is potential for promotion and increased salary based on performance.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Manage improvement and expansion of the Fund’s Nigerian health delivery program
  • Hire and train medical and administrative personnel
  • Ensure that program staff complete medical and administrative tasks with excellence and in timely fashion
  • Improve and manage processes to ensure appropriate program documentation and tracking
  • Engage in other duties as required to manage the program and ensure its optimal performance

Required Qualifications

  • Strong medical knowledge
  • Fluent in Hausa and English
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel
  • Excellent managerial skills
  • Excellent business or commercial skills
