Job Title: Senior Proposal & Tendering Engineer

Location: Lagos
Job Objective

• To build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships; develop and generate new business opportunities.

Duties
The duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Screen and propose potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities and making recommendations
• Develop negotiating strategies and positions by examining risks and potentials and estimating partner or client needs and goals
• Close new business deals by co-ordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
• Develop a commercial model and evaluation tools for new project launches
• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to management
• Liaise with the existing clients and Technical Partners for feedback on IESL performance
• Liaise with clients on new proposals
• Liaise with personal of IOCs’, NAPIMS, NNPC or others that are necessary
• Oversee tender and proposal development process and maintain the time-line for the proposal terms
• Liaise with Divisional Heads and ensure that appropriate and timely input is made to technical bids
• Review prepared tenders (Pre-qualifications, Technical and Commercials) before passing it for approval and final submission
• Review procedures intermittently or as required.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, MBA will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 8 years’ relevant work experience in the Oil & Gas company.
• Members of NSE, COREN.
