Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa Admission Pre-HND and Polytechnic Diploma for 2016/2017

Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa – Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into programmes run by the Polytechnic in the 2016/2017 Academic Session as follows:

Part Time Programmes

Higher National Diploma, NDII (Pre-HND) and Polytechnic Diploma in:

  • Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology – HND/NDII/Poly. DIP.
  • (Power Machines option) – HND/NDII/Poly. DIP.
  • Mechanical Engineering Technology – HND/NDII/Poly. DIP.
  • Architectural Technology – HND/NDII/Poly. DIP.
  •  Building Technology – HND/NDII/Poly. DIP.
  • Urban and Regional Planning  – HND/NDII/Poly. DIP.
  • Banking and Finance – HND/NDII/Poly. DIP.
  • Marketing –  HND/NDII/Poly. DIP.
  •  Office Technology and Management – HND/NDII/Poly. DIP.
  • Statistics –  HND/NDII/Poly. DIP.
  • Computer Science – HND/NDII/Poly. DIP.
  • Science Laboratory Technology – HND/NDII/Poly. DIP.
  • Accountancy – HND/NDII/Poly. DIP.
  • Agricultural Engineering Technology – HND/NDII/Poly. DIP.

  • Crime Management, Prevention and Control (This programme is STRICTLY for personnel in the Military, Police, SSS, and other Para-Military Agencies, candidates are expected to show evidence accordingly).
  • Tourism and Event Management – POLY DIP.

Duration for Programmes
Higher National Diploma and National Diploma

  • All Higher National Diploma (HN D) programmes shall run for six (6) semesters and lectures shall be conducted during the weekends, (Fridays – Sundays).
  • Candidates are not eligible for NYSC mobilization. National Diploma (NDII) shall run for three (3) semesters, while the Polytechnic Diploma
  • Programmes shall run for four (4)semesters.

Entry Requirements

  • HND (part-time): National Diploma (ND) in the relevant field from recognized Polytechnics with at least Lower Credit plus at least five (5) Credits in GCE 0’ Level, SSCE. or its equivalent in relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language. The post Nworking experiences not required for admission in this respect.
  • National Diploma (NDII) Ordinary Diploma or its equivalent in relevant discipline and five (5) Credits at not more than two sittings at the GCE 0’ Level, SSCE. or its equivalent in relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language and any three relevant subjects.
  • Polytechnic Diploma (Part-Time): At least four (4) passes including Mathematics and English Language and other relevant subjects at the GCE 0’ Level, SSCE or its equivalent.



Mode of Application

Interested candidates can obtain Application Forms on purchase of Registration PIN on Remita Platform at a non-refundable fee of Six Thousand Naira (N6.000.00) only.

Candidates are to then register with the PIN on the Polytechnic portal:www.fedpolynasarawa.edu.ng and to print out their respective Slips.
