Job Title: Administrative Secretaries

 
Job Description
We have several openings for Administrative Secretaries (male/ female) in various Organizations within Benin!  We will cover specifics of the department during you first interview.

Job Requirements

The chosen candidates will meet the following requirements:
  • National Diploma or Higher National Diploma qualification
  • At least 2 years of related experience
  • Proficient skill level of office software and computers
  • Strong general office support skills required
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate and be accountable for multiple tasks required
  • High level of confidentiality required
  • Intermediate level of Word and PowerPoint
  • Basic level of skill with Excel

The Administrative Secretaries are responsible for
  • word processing;
  • audio and copy typing;
  • letter writing;
  • dealing with telephone and email enquiries;
  • creating and maintaining filing systems;
  • scheduling and attending meetings, creating agendas and taking minutes – shorthand may be
  • required;
  • keeping diaries and arranging appointments;
  • using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel,
  • Access, etc., to produce correspondence and documents and to maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases;
  • Creating advanced correspondence as required
  • Independently reviewing work and assesses effectiveness of routine work assignments.
  • Communicating with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
  • The triage of problems as necessary, resolving issues when appropriate.
  • devising and maintaining office systems;

workings hours are officially between 8.00am- 5.00pm from Monday to Friday. Saturday is inclusive but as stipulated by the Organization
