SUMMARY
  • Cisco VoIP Engineer will design, configure, document, deploy, implement and maintain our 24/7 Voice Operations DataCenter
  • 80 – 90% your role will be working in an enterprise PBX infrastructure
  • Fast paced, high attention to detail, ever changing environment
REQURIEMENTS
  • BSCS/MSCS or related IT/Engineering fields
  • 6+ years’ experience in Cisco VoIP network design and implementation
  • Telephony systems: Mitel, Siemen 9006, Voice mail systems, Cisco,and ProComm Plus
  • In-depth knowledge of Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN)and telecommunications carriers operations, processes, and procedures.
  • Familiar with voice trunking: CO/DID, ISDN PRI, SIP; and OPS/FEXservices.
  • Possess expert knowledge of Siemens/Rolm, HiComm, and Mitel PBXto troubleshoot and maintain existing PBX systems; configuration management practices, standards and plans
  • Knowledge of traffic engineeringcall volume forecasting, and the ability to ensure that trunking capacity is sized for high availability and cost effective service.
  • Must demonstrate experience working with Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and Cisco Voice systems (UCCX, Call Manager, etc.) and products
  • Voice Operations is a 24/7 operation (on call support may be required)
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite: (Exchange, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Visio, Sharepoint, etc.)
    PREFERRED (but NOT required)
  • VoIP certification and/or training
  • Siems, Rolm, Hicomm, Procomm Plus
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Skype
  • Familiar with Cisco Unified Communications systems a plus (Cisco Call Manager, Unity, UCCX, etc.)
