Job Title:Production Manager


  • Production Manager has to ensure and maintain the Discipline among company and contract employees.
  • Must be ready with overall plant assessment (Including Operators) and Calculated Capacity of Lines.
  • Production Manager has to convey the daily production plan and to make a strategy to achieve that.
  • Has to control and ensure the material flow, manpower movements, and the Installation or Project activities carried out in his shift.
  • To take and assign the Improvement and Innovative Projects to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Frequent visits of plant and lines to personally observe the major breakdowns and Change Over.
  • Production Manager has to communicate frequently with the supporting departments to readily solve the Downtimes.
  • Review of Hourly Production and Implementation of action plans.
  • Reporting with CAPA wherever necessary and to maintain all production formats and records readily available.
  • Must conduct online training for the operators and contract manpower and to document the same to fulfill the customer quality norms.(One training is Mandatory in a Month).
  • To ensure the Shop Floor always free from unwanted material and all SOP to be followed religiously.
  • Must have knowledge of Technical and Non-technical Issues well before communicating and reporting out.
  • To get involve into the new product development following RPTCM.
  • Interaction with machine manufacturer regarding the problem faced in the machine during commissioning.
  • To maintain the stocks and monitor the usage of machine spares.
  • Reconciliations of RM/PM to get the wastages.
  • To make an action plan with the team to reduce the wastages to the set company norms.
  • To involve into the breakdown and solve the technical issues up to some extent.
  • Co-ordination with Machine supplier for new developments.
  • To maintain the top class quality thorough following the standard practices on shop floor.
