Job Title: Cost Accountant
Report to: Executive Director, Finance and Administration
Grade: Senior Staff
Status: Full time
Job Summary
We are in need of an experienced cost accountant to assist the company to set up a costing department and provide leadership for the staff.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare, analyze and report weekly, monthly, quarterly gross margin analysis by brand by customer type
• Assist in month-end closing, prepare journal entries as necessary, analyze inventory evaluation, inventory roll forward
• Prepare collateral reporting
• Analyze cost accounting data and assist with cycle count/physical inventories
• Maintain internal control documentation and test internal controls
• Prepare detailed account analysis and reconcile sales, cost and inventory, liability accounts by customer type by brand
• Review and analyze inventory and margin reports, conduct research and perform analytical studies in regards to cost analyses and profitability
• Work in special projects as required
• Support and assist internal department reporting requirements such as audit schedules, tax schedules and others
• Ensure timely submission, accuracy and validity of inventory, gross margin schedules to management
• Others as may be assigned

Minimum Qualifications Are:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through 4 or more years of related experience
Ability to apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles & Cost Accounting Standards
Must be able to adapt to new and different computer programs and software to enable efficient data gathering and analysis
Ability to research, compile, analyse and interpret data
Good written, verbal communication and collaborative skills
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products
Ability to analyze and reconcile complex accounts and reserves
Strong organizational and communicational skills
Detail oriented
Knowledge of ERPNext preferred
Manufacturing industry background in FMCG preferred
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision

Job Title: Senior Internal Auditor
Report to: Executive Director, Finance and Administration
Grade: Senior Staff
Status: Full time
Position Description
The Internal Auditor position is created for experienced auditors: auditors who have had experience in operational and financial auditing in manufacturing industry. The position is ideal for someone looking for opportunity for fresh challenges in manufacturing sector.
On each audit, the Internal Auditor should demonstrate strong communication, planning, administrative, technical, and audit investigative skills, as well as establishing and maintaining good relationships with staff. In addition, the Internal Auditor must be willing to lead from time to time on various audits and department projects. The Internal Auditor should have basic skills in project management.
Main Areas of Responsibilities
Audit Planning:
Assist in development of risk-based audit plan
Identify financial and operational risks and incorporate into audit scope and audit program
Consult with manager/director on scope and audit timetable
Initiate discussions with business unit regarding planning and scope issues
Update audit program as appropriate
Communicate scope, timing and audit program to team

Audit Fieldwork:

Conduct audits consistent with Company and department policies; manage timely completion of audit including communication of status to manager

Identify and document financial statement exposures, operational/process issues, internal control deficiencies and opportunities for improvement

Prepare agenda for the audit closing meeting

Document audit findings into audit report format as the audit progresses

Adapt audit program and procedures as observations/new information is uncovered in the field

Audit Wrap-Up:

Finalize audit fieldwork and audit report consistent with report writing guidelines

Work to issue audit report in timely manner

Conduct self-evaluations with team

Requirements

A minimum of 4 years audit experience in a manufacturing environment is required

Proven experience leading and building teams through an audit engagement

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong analytical and communication skills

Working knowledge of data analysis tools is a plus

Comfortable working and learning independently and as part of a team

Understanding of relevant regulatory issues and implementation practices

Understanding of audit methodology and use of various audit tools to facilitate the audit process

CPA,ACCA, ICAN is preferred
Education
B.Sc/HND required, preferably in Finance/Accounting or Business Administration

Job Title: Factory Manager
Location: Lagos state
Department: Factory
Reports To: Director of Operations
Minimum Qualification: degree in food science or related disciplines
Required Experience: 5years above
Age: not more than 45
We are looking for a Factory Manager to drive continuous improvement and optimization of all processes. The person will oversee all daily operations of the factory from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. The successful candidate will have the key skills to develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity.

Responsibilities

Plan, organise, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations

Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimising unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards

Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time delivery

Allocate resources effectively and fully utilise assets to produce optimal results

Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions

Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff

Collect and analyse data to find places of waste or overtime

Commit to plant safety procedures

Develop systems and processes that track and optimise productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets

Address employees’ issues or grievances and refers to HR when necessary

Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts

Requirements

Proven work experience as a factory manager in a FMCG

Proven managerial experience

Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources)

Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise

Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes

Computer literacy

Ability to create accountability and to lead by example

Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills

Educational/Essential qualifications:

Degree B.sc or HND in Food science or related field.

Masters in food technology field is an added advantage

Hands-on experience in food manufacturing is highly needed Preferably male residing in Lagos
