Arthur Jarvis University is a private University located in Akpabuyo, 13km from Calabar, Cross River State.
Federal Government of Nigeria has granted the University license to commence academic activities and run the following programmes.

Candidate should possess a PhD degree from a recognised University and should have at least ten (10) years teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution. Candidate should be a specialist in a core area of departmental fields of study with evidence of adequate number of publications in reputable learned journals. Candidate should be a Professor at the time of application.
2. Associate Professor
Candidate should possess a PhD degree from a recognised University and should have eight (8) years teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution. Candidate should be a specialist in a core area of departmental fields of study with evidence of adequate number of publications in reputable learned journals. Candidate should be an Associate Professor at the time of application.
3. Senior Lecturer
Candidate should possess a PhD degree from a recognised University and should have at least (six) years teaching, research experience in a tertiary institution. Candidate should be a specialist in a core area of departmental fields of study with evidence of adequate number of publications in reputable learned journals.
4. Lecturer I
Candidate should possess a PhD from a recognised University and should have at least three (3) years post-Doctoral teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution. Candidate must have evidence of six (6) publications in reputable learned journals.

Candidate should posses a PhD from a recognized University with three (3) years teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution. Candidate should also have evidence of three (3) publications in reputable learned journals.

Candidate should possess Higher National Diploma (HND) in Secretarial Studies from a recognised institution and should have seven (7) years cognate experience.

Candidate should possess National Diploma (ND) in Secretarial Studies from a recognised institution, and should have four (4) years working experience.
8. Principal Accountant
Candidate should possess either a B.Sc. or HND in Accountancy from a recognised institution and should have nine (9) years cognate experience four (4) of which must be in a tertiary institution. Registration with a recognized professional body is mandatory.
9. Senior Accountant
Candidate should possess either a B.Sc. or HND in Accountancy from a recognised institution, and should have six (6) years post-qualification experience, three (3) of which must be in a tertiary institution. Registration with a recognized professional body is an added advantage.

Candidate should possess at least a B.Sc. or HND in Accountancy from a recognised institution, and should have three (3) years post-qualification experience. Registration with a professional body is an added advantage.

Candidate should possess a good honours Degree in Accountancy from a recognised University.

Candidate should possess either a B.Sc. or HND in Accountancy from a recognised institution, and should have nine (9) years post-qualification experience. Registration with a recognized professional body is mandatory.
13. Senior Internal Auditor
Candidate should possess a good honours degree or HND in Accountancy from a recognised institution, and have six (6) years post-qualification experience. Registration with a recognized professional body is mandatory.
14. Senior Librarian
Candidates must possess a good honours degree in Library Science with six (6) publications four (4) of which must be in reputable journals. Candidate must have nine (9) years cognate experience. Membership of Librarian Registration Council of Nigeria is mandatory.
15. Library Officer
Candidate should possess National Diploma (ND) in Library & Information Science from a recognised institution.
16. Chief Architect
Candidate should possess a Masters degree in Architecture from a recognised University with nine (9) years working experience three (3) of which must be in a tertiary institution. Registration with a recognized professional body is mandatory.
17. Principal Engineer
Candidate should possess a good honours degree in Engineering from a recognised University and have nine (9) years post-qualification experience. Registration with a recognised professional body is mandatory.
18. Chief Security Officer
Candidate should possess a good honours degree from a recognised University and should have at least twelve (12) years cognate experience.
19. Security Officer II
Candidate should possess five credits at O level and should have at least eight (8) years cognate experience.
20. Principal Medical Officer
Candidate should possess MBBS from a recognised university plus nine (9) years post-housemanship experience. Candidate should also have postgraduate training in relevant field. Evidence of registration with Medical & Dental Council of Nigeria is required
21. Senior Medical Officer
Candidate should possess an MBBS plus three (3) years post- housemanship experience Evidence of registration with Medical & Dental Council of Nigeria is required.
22. Senior Pharmacist
Candidate should, possess a B.Pharm or B. Sc Pharmacy degree from a recognised university with three (3) years experience and be registered with a recognized professional body.
23. Senior Nursing Officer
Candidate should possess either NRCN and NRM certificates with six (6) years post-registration experience or a Bachelor of Nursing degree with three years’ post-qualification experience.
24. Nursing Officer 1
Candidate should possess either NRCN and NRM certificates with four (4) years post-registration experience.
25. Nursing Officer
Candidate should possess NRCN or NRM certificates.
26. Principal Information/Public Relations Officer
Candidate should possess a B.A in either Mass Communication or Public Relations from a recognised University with at least nine (9) years cognate experience and be registered with a recognized professional body.
27. Network Administrator
Candidate should have any of the following:B.Eng./B. Tech. (Computer, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Sc. Telecommunicationsa/ Physics/ Electronics and HND Electrical Electronics/ Computer Science. CCNA, MCSE/RHCT/MCP certifications would be an added advantage.
28. IT Technician (LAN/Wireles Operator/ Data/Network Security Supervisor)
Candidate should have either OND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Science/ Telecommunication Science with a minimum of 2 years of working experience in computer networking installations. Candidates should have good communication skills with at least one year experience in Internet Service Provider (ISP)/ Cyber-café operation.
29. Senior Technologist
Candidate should possess B.Sc./ HND from a recognized institution in relevant field with at least 6 years of relevant post-qualification work experience.
30. Technologist I
Candidate should possess either a B.Sc. or HND in a relevant discipline from a recognized Institution and should have at least three years cognate experience. Registration with recognised discipline is mandatory.
31. Laboratory Assistant
Candidate should possess O Level Certificates with credit in relevant subjects.
32. Sports Coach
Candidate should possess a good honours degree and must have requisite experience in sports administration and sports groundsmanship with a least 8 years of experience after graduation.
