Job Title: IT Manager 

Location:  Akwa Ibom

Requirements

  • 5 Years work experience in Related Industry with 2 years at Management level.
  • Bachelors Degree or HND in IT or Computer Science or related field.
  • Knowledge of: Visual Basic, VB.Net, JAVA,C++, VISUAL C++, CSS, JAVA SCRIPT, MYSQL DATABASE, Joomla, WordPress, PHP.
  • Strong Analytical and Decision Making Skills
  • Proven Leadership and Management Qualities
  • Excellent Communication, problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Self-starter with strong leadership and consensus building skills
  • Ability to multi-task , Self disciplined
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills


Job Role

  • Manage the IT Department on a day to day basis and motivate team to work in the most efficient manner
  • Be on the forefront of emerging industry practices.
  • IT Policy, Strategy, Procedures and Controls Development and Formulation
  • Holds regular meetings with IT team and effectively manages these sessions.
  • Inspires colleagues to attain goals and pursue excellence.
  • Ensuring adherence to company backup and disaster recovery plan
  • Supervise and Ensure timely resolution of IT Related help desk issues.
  • Recruitment of new IT Team members.
  • Serves as main point of contact on all IT-related matters for the company.
  • Oversee Network Design/Configuration, Implementation and Maintenance,
  • Implementation of network security as required by Company policy.
  • Oversees troubleshooting and resolution of general user problems,
  • System Administration – Oversees Upgrades of New hardware/ software and configuration, and related patches.
  • Mail Servers Management
  • Management of websites, apps, social media sites, live streaming etc
  • System Administration – Oversees Upgrades of New hardware/ software and configuration, and related patches.
  • Monitoring service and performance levels of IT Suppliers
  • Staff and User Training
  • Managing Mail and exchange servers.
  • Programming and Website Design/Management Skills
  • Monitor stability, connectivity and performance of the Information access interfaces environment and related storage capacity
  • Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions. Completes other digital media projects as assigned.
