Job Title: Finance Executive
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- The Finance Executive provides support to the finance Manager and is expected to keep financial records and cultivate relationships with external regulatory bodies.
Job Description
- Recording and posting of daily transactions
- Attend to bank related activities
- Bank reconciliation statements
- Assisting in handling company expenses and payroll systems
- Assisting in completing & submitting TAX and VAT returns
- Petty Cash Management
- Attending to bank related matters and any other assignment given
- Maintaining fixed assets register (schedule)
- Assisting in the preparation of accounts
- Assisting in processing and paying invoices
- Recording receipts and payments
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have the following:
- Minimum of B.Sc./HND in a related field
- Must be female and below 30 years
- A demonstrated knowledge of finance, accounting and internal controls
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Strong Proficiency in MS Office Applications
- Knowledge of Accounting software such as Peachtree is an added advantage
- Must have at least 5 years professional experience with at least 3 years in Auditing, Control & Compliance in any financial institution
- Experience in implementing policies and procedures, including process evaluation and documentation
