Job Title: Technical Manager (Security /Telecom Engineer)

We seek an experienced Security and Telecom Engineer to lead and project manage the operations of our Solution team across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
The Technical Manager role is to lead initiatives in designing and implementing Security Control system and architecture in line with clients’ specification/needs
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in any of Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering
Additional qualifications like CCNA, MCSE, MCSA, MCDBA would be an advantage
Any training attended on Bosch and Cisco systems would be an added advantage.
Must have at least 8 years practical working experience and 3 years leadership experience in the Security/Telecom Industry; with expertise in ELV security system design, installation, configuring, testing, training and commissioning
Must have good knowledge of CCTV & Access Control System solution design
Project experience of Access Control, PA/GA and Anti-Intrusion System
Good knowledge of structured cabling – CAT6 & Fiber
Good communication & presentation skills.
Good project management skills and leadership ability
Ability to work extra hours if required depending on the Project requirement
Must possess good work ethics
Duties
Analyze and review technical specifications and drawings.
Mentor, support, and supervise activities of junior systems and field engineers.
Technical security consulting advice to clients across different industries to enable them to treat or reduce the impact of identified security vulnerabilities.
Security risk assessments and surveys
Developing operational requirements
Create FDS (Functional Design Specification), Bill of Material during project execution stage
Writing network specifications, design approach and documents, for project implementation
CCTV system design, configuration, installation, testing, training & commissioning – Network & Analog CCTV Systems.
Deployment of Access Control systems & Structure Cabling Networks for Data & Voice
Installation, Termination & Testing of CAT6 & Fiber Optic Cables.
Configuration & installation of CCTV, Digital Display, Security Electronic Alarm Systems & Perimeter Protection Systems
Configuration & installation of Time & Attendance systems.
Configuration & installation of Way Finding Systems.
Configuration & installation of Audio Visual Systems.
Configuration & installation of Networking hardware and IP Telephony Systems.
Preparing technical submittals.
Doing Site Surveys for Implementation of CCTV TV & general installations
Network and system administration on Windows Server platform.
Configuration and installation of Controller & Access Point based Wi-Fi systems.
Configuration and installation of Internet Routers.
Install, configure and support stabilized and fixed VSAT
Supervise structural office cabling work
Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and carry out repairs.
Physical and electronic security systems specification and design
Security design integration and assurance
Project management and delivery
Managing email, anti-spam and virus protection software
Monitoring of servers, routers and switches
