Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Lagos
Duration: At least 3 years

Job Descriptions

  • Our client is busy with building a Gas Pipeline in Nigeria, which will be around 500 kilometre. This project will take up to 3 years in total and will be the single largest infrastructure investment in Nigeria’s history.

Activities of the Job

  • Responsible for all electrical activities during the project;
  • Review, consult, design and supervise all installations onshore of the electrical requirements for the whole project;
  • Prepare and study technical drawings and specifications to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements;
  • Develop electromechanical products by studying customer requirements;
  • Set specifications and check the design of the electromechanical products and systems;
  • Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling and installing components;
  • Prepare product reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information and trends;
  • Cooperate with team members in complying with relevant health and safety legislations and procedures;
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function.

Requirements of the Job

  • Several years experience in Nigeria is a must
  • Minimum 10 years experience as Electrical Engineer
  • Experience with Gas Pipelines is mandatory
  • Electrical Engineering Education
  • European passport

Specifications of the Job:

  • Willing to move to Nigeria (or already based in Nigeria)
  • Start date will be as soon as possible
  • Onshore based
