Job Title: Fuelling Manager (Diesel)

REQUIREMENT/QUALIFICATION – 

A degree in Procurement or Purchasing and Supply Management or other related fields.
At least ten (10) years related experience.
Telecoms experience of at least five (5) years.
Must be proficient in the use of MS packages especially MS Excel.    
A strategic thinker and self-starter.
Excellent reputation for integrity and judgment.
Analytical, organization, and problem solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The diesel manager will carry out the following functions;

Oversea general sourcing and distribution of diesel to all telecom sites under our management.
Design an efficient sourcing strategy for diesel.
Create a working fueling schedule to be followed by Team leads, suppliers, and site guards.
Attend to on calls for emergency fueling calls.
Ensure Escalation Management counts on fuel shortages are maintained at zero
Ensure all relevant documentation and set procedures are adhered to.
Monitor fuel consumptions and profitability
Daily reporting of status of fuel on all Backbone sites.
Reconcile amounts of diesel paid for and delivered by vendors
Processing of payment for new consignments.
Ensure continuous stock review to avoid stock depletion below stock limit.
Make sure proper documentation is done.
Alternative power supply management
Prepare monthly work schedule
Hybrid and PHCN status reporting
Quality Management System.
Ensure conformity with the Quality Management System.
Ensure products supplied are within the approved specifications.
