Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Description 

  • We are looking for a focused, efficient, result-oriented individual with strong leadership personality and commerunication skills.
  • He/She will be expected to have considerable years of experience as an accountant in the Engineering, Procurement and Construction industry.

Requirements 

  • Basic accounting functions such as invoicing, inventory control, accounts receivables/payables, general ledger maintenance, internal control, dealing with all aspect of taxation and full profit & loss responsibility
  • Monitor taxation issues, determine tax liability and tax planning
  • Considerable administrative experience.
  • Establish, maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting policies and accounting control procedures.
  • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses.
  • Strong leadership personality and communications skills.
  • Projects / Construction Accounting dynamics

Qualifications 

  • Minimum of B.Sc Second Class Lower or HND Upper Credit Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or any related field.
  • Professional qualification must be ACCA, ACA Or at final level of exams.
  • Direct experience in accounting software like SAP, QuickBooks or SAGE is compulsory.
  • Minimum of 8 years in financial accounting and management reporting in a well-structured organization.
  • Candidates must also have 4 years audit experience with an internation/premeir audit firm



Job Title: QA/QC Manager
Location:
 Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Description
 

  • Represent the Company on all matters of Quality
  • Manage and update the Company Quality Management Manual
  • Guarantee the effective implementation of Company QAQC policies and Procedures
  • Plan and supervise Quality System Audits and address corrective actions
  • Coordinate the Quality Management System Review Meetings
  • Guarantee the training program to all personnel about Quality System Management and related methodologies
  • Propose preventive measures promote and implement improvement programs
  • Guarantee the planning and assessment of project audit results and analysis of non-conformity
  • Supervise the definition and implementation of customer satisfaction tools and activities
  • Provide specialist support to Proposal Manager during bidding phase and to the Project Manager during project execution phase
  • Ensure the collation and the analysis of quality data coming from projects
  • Provide necessary assistance and specific expertise to other Company functions and to projects concerning matters of quality
  • Evaluate the Quality Systems of suppliers and sub-contractors during the pre-qualification phase
  • Allocate Quality personnel to various duties and/or projects
  • Liaise with the authorized Company Quality System certification body

Qualification Required for Position 

  • Degree in Engineering or Environmental Science
  • Minimum of Lead auditor certificate in ISO9001:2008, ISO14001-2004 standards
  • CSWIP Senior welding inspection level III

Experience: 

  • Minimum of 10 years experience as QAQC Manager
  • Vast industrial codes and standards expertise
  • Vast quality assurance & control expertise in Oil & Gas pipeline, facilities and power stations.





Job Title: Ticketing Coordinator
Location:
 Port Harcourt, Rivers
Responsibilities 

  • Make ticket booking, quote fare at the request of Human Resources Department / or relevant Senior Managers for domestic and international travel and accommodation directly.
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.
  • Develop and maintain strong, sustainable relationship with key airline offices as well as selected travel agents.

Qualifications 

  • BSc/HND in any discipline with a minimum of second class /lower credit
  • Must have IATA/UFTAA Foundation qualification; completion of Basic intermediate or Advanced Airfares & Ticketing diploma will be an added advantage (available in house)
  • Must have fair knowledge of Amadeus or Sabre GDS or familiar with various ticketing portals.

Experience: 

  • Applicants must have experience in Travel Agency operations





Job Title: Senior Audit Accountant
Location:
 Port Harcourt, Rivers
Principal Accountabilities

  • Use advanced knowledge of accounting to prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Identify risk management issues.
  • Writing and working with management to communicate action plans resulting from audit findings and recommendations, ensuring that all significant areas are appropriately documented and addressed;
  • Primary point of contact to manage audit files and records, ensuring files are maintained in accordance with Record Retention schedules;
  • Demonstrating advanced knowledge to identify risk areas to through formal and informal risk assessments and gap analyses;
  • Building networks and relationships with other functional areas to build support for the audit plans and initiatives;
  • Ensuring adequate supervision of guest auditors.
  • This position will work in support of the Internal Audit management by:
  • Demonstrating advanced understanding of internal control concepts and experience apply them to plan, perform, manage and report on the evaluation of various business processes/areas/functions;
  • Working with management to implement the audit plan and system to assess the controls in place that mitigate identified risks to Takeda;
  • Reviewing the day-to-day activities of resources from the co-sourcing consulting firm, including assessing and revising proposed audit programs, coordinating the review of documentation and implementing the interview schedule;

Skills & Requirements
Qualifications: 

  • To perform this position successfully, an individual must demonstrate regular, predictable attendance and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education/Certification/Licensure: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Bachelor’s degree in another discipline with appropriate coursework in tax and accounting.

Experience Required: 

  • Typically requires 7-10 years of previous accounting and auditing experience with a minimum of 4 years in an international audit firm.

Knowledge and Skills Required: 

  • Advanced knowledge of general accounting principles and standards.
  • Proficient use of computer applications, such as MS Office and accounting software.
  • Strong mathematical, statistical, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Proficient with relevant technical accounting tools, such as tax programs, research platforms, risk assessment technology, electronic binders, client portals, etc.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Physical Requirements: 

  • To accomplish the essential functions of the position, one must be physically able to operate or work with computers, calculators, reference books, computer software applications, phones, and other standard office equipment.
  • The physical activities of the position include talking, reaching, grasping, light lifting, bending, squatting, and other repetitive motions.

Working Conditions: 

  • Work is considered sedentary and performed mainly in a pleasant office environment with rare exposure to environmental factors.
