Job Title: Remedy Administrator

Job Purpose 

  • Responsible for the administering Remedy application for IT and other business units who are using remedy as their workflow/request fulfillment including Wealth and Ghana

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities 

  • Ensure that the underpinning contract between Stanbic and E&M Business Solutions (vendor) is renewed annually;
  • Ensure annual maintenance is paid to the vendor before due date to avoid service disruption
  • Ensure all remedy enhancements are handled in-house to minimize service charge by the vendor to the Bank.
  • Ensure all remedy services are started (BMC Remedy Action Request System Server, apache Tomcat Tomcat7, BMC Remedy Email Engine and SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER)
  • Support all remedy consoles in the Bank, Wealth and Ghana.
  • Ensure remedy certificates and licenses are renewed before expiry dates.
  • Ensure public holidays are set to avoid SLA missed on such days for Bank, Wealth and Ghana.
  • Provision of remedy data for audit and regulatory purpose.
  • Purge remedy data when required to ensure optimal performance.

Preferred Qualification and Experience 

  • Minimum of First Degree or its equivalent in Numerate or Semi-numerate disciplines such as Engineering, Computer Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics.
  • Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience.

Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise 

  • Microsoft Office Suites (especially Excel)
  • Remedy lightweight skill

Job Title: Application Support and Maintenance Specialist

Job Purpose

  • Assists in managing the Cisco and related telecoms issues and infrastructure in branch and campus locations

Preferred Qualification and Experience

  • Participate in the assessment and optimization of the server systems, through systems monitoring, statistics, and daily health checks. Work with management to ensure accurate reporting KPIs and trends for all facets of the environment.
  • Working with management, coordinates service calls and schedules appointments with software vendor and consultants to ensure satisfactory resolution of problems and malfunctions.
  • On call 24/7 x 365 for emergencies and a shift based monitoring schedule.
  • Ensure all Unix/Linux boxes are working optimally and in a state of stability to deliver round the clock service.
  • Support for all SAN and backup and recovery systems in the enterprise.
  • Participating in disaster recovery tests and planning.
  • Partnering with peers and management to make informed strategic/big-picture decisions as regards storage and server infrastructure.
  • Performing standard Storage system administration responsibilities.

Preferred Qualification and Experience

  • Good Degree in sciences.
  • Diploma in Data processing.
  • IT programming experience will be beneficial.
