Our company (Timekeepers Int’l Ltd) was set-up with the aim of importing watches, jewellery and accessories from some of the world’s leading brands for the purpose of distribution and retailing primarily in Nigeria and west Africa. We serve as representatives to some of the world’s best known 
brands acting as managers of their brands in the territories covered. 

Job Title: Social Media Manager 
We are looking for a switched on Social Media Manager to join our growing team and take our social media and marketing to the next level. 

  • As the Social Media Manager you will:
  • Ensure that all of the company’s social media and marketing channels are fully exploited to the maximum benefit of the business
  • Develop a corporate marketing strategy that incorporates social media and other marketing initiatives
  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
  • Conduct daily data analysis of Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn etc. to assess and manage budget spend and ensure optimum exposure
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections with our customers and encourages them to take action
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the:
  • company’s social content
  • Create editorial calendars and content schedules
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Stay abreast of key industry trends, competitive insights and emerging social media / marketing / e-commerce technologies

Candidate Requirements 
The successful candidate will: 

  • Have proven working experience in social media or related field
  • Have excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
  • Have demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  • Have adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
  • Have knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Awareness of developments in digital marketing and ecommerce
  • Have a positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
  • A love for fashion or luxury
  • Resourceful with positive attitude that thrives in a fast-pace, entrepreneurial environment
  • Be degree qualified in Communications, Marketing, Business, or similar
  • Be fluent in English with excellent English grammar skills
