We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Loan and Savings Officer

Location: Rivers

Job Description

  • Achieving assigned sales targets
  • Recruiting members for the cooperative program
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding weekly, monthly and annual sales activity goals
  • Closing prospective customers using working knowledge of our product lines
  • Identifying opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell customers
  • Handling inquiries about product, pricing, order expediting and customer relations
  • Customer focused selling, communication and objection handling
  • Providing professional, courteous, and efficient customer service to all customers
  • Increasing sales through account planning and expansion of existing accounts
  • Creating Business Development Plans including prospective target customers, market assessments, and sales plans for transition
  • Preparing and presenting sales presentations, business proposals and client reports to clients and company stakeholders.
  • Analyze applicants’ financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans.
  • Explain to customers the different types of loans and credit options that are available, as well as the terms of those services.
  • Obtain and compile copies of loan applicants’ credit histories, corporate financial statements, and other financial information.
  • Review and update credit and loan files.
  • Review loan agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to policy.
  • Compute payment schedules.
  • Stay abreast of new types of loans and other financial services and products in order to better meet customers’ needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • OND/HND/B.Sc in related discipline
  • Must have excellent negotiation and cross-selling skills
  • Candidate must have a minimum of two years sales experience.
  • Candidates must be resident in Port Harcourt


Job Title: Magazine Editor

Location: Rivers

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, rewrite and edit copy to improve readability, or supervise others who do this work.
  • Read copy or proof to detect and correct errors in spelling, punctuation, and syntax.
  • Allocate print space for story text, photos, and illustrations according to space parameters and copy significance, using knowledge of layout principles.
  • Plan the contents of publications according to the publication’s style, editorial policy, and publishing requirements.
  • Verify facts, dates, and statistics, using standard reference sources.
  • Review and approve proofs submitted by composing room prior to publication production.
  • Develop story or content ideas, considering reader or audience appeal.
  • Oversee publication production, including artwork, layout, computer typesetting, and printing, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Confer with management and editorial staff members regarding placement and emphasis of developing news stories

Qualifications

  • OND/HND/BSc in related discipline

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Rivers

Job Description

  • As a quantity surveyor you will be required to be involved in all projects of City Core and its partner companies

Responsibilities

  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
  • Undertake cost analysis for all projects.
  • Assist in establishing client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies;
  • Perform risk, value management and cost control;
  • Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports;
  • Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
  • Direct or conduct surveys in order to establish legal boundaries for properties, based on legal deeds and titles.
  • Record the results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.
  • Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain.
  • Prepare or supervise preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys.
  • Write descriptions of property boundary surveys for use in deeds, leases, or other legal documents.
  • Plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements.
  • Search legal records, survey records, and land titles in order to obtain information about property boundaries in areas to be surveyed.
  • Prepare scheme designs with costing, programmes for completion of projects and specification of works;
  • Advise on the management and supervision of maintenance of buildings;
  • Deal with planning applications and advise on property legislation and building regulations;
  • Instruct on construction design and management regulations;
  • Carry out feasibility studies;

Qualifications

  • HND/BSc in Quantity Surveying. Additional relevant qualification is an advantage
  • Applicant must be resident in Port Harcourt



Job Title: Architect

Location: Rivers

Details

  • Consult with clients to determine requirements for structures
  • Estimate materials, equipment, costs, and construction time
  • Prepare, design, and structure specifications
  • Prepare scaled drawings of project
  • Prepare contract documents for building contractors
  • Creating building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications
  • Liaising with construction professionals about the feasibility of potential projects
  • Working around constraining factors such as town planning legislation, environmental impact and project budget
  • Working closely with a team of other professionals such as building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors and architectural technologists
  • Specifying the requirements for the project

Qualifications

  • HND/BSc in relevant discipline. Additional relevant qualification is an advantage
  • Applicant must be resident in Port Harcourt
