Requirements
We require a candidate who is methodical, detailed, and able to work under pressure. Specific requirements are:

  • Degree within relevant field OR equivalent qualification and 6 to 8 years’ experience with proven track record in the related field.
  • Proven track record of work experience in Logistics
  • SAP experience (preferable) and Microsoft Office computer skills
  • Fluent English (written and oral)


Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for managing the inventory order process from coordinating a sales forecast, translating this into inventory purchase orders, placement of the order with the supplier, importation and clearing process, whilst ensuring optimized inventory levels to meet customer demands. Core tasks will include:

  • Coordination and compilation of a sales forecast from the sales team monthly.
  • Purchasing of required raw material and merchandised products, supporting the production process with accurate and timely production planning information, to ensure optimized inventory levels which are in line with inventory KPI’s.
  • Support business management with accurate and timely inventory reports.
  • Ensuring inventory is carefully and accurately managed to set inventory KPI’s.
  • Supporting the weekly cycle counts and monthly stock take activities.
  • Ensuring all merchandised products purchased at correct price, per ICTP guidelines. This includes the determination of and maintenance of new ICTP pricing requests.
  • Support the customer returns process through the NCM system.
  • Ensuring all required master data, is determined and updated and maintained according to BU processes
  • Maintain an up-to-date document filing system.
  • Reporting on relevant inventory management KPI’s to Country management team.
