Our team has over 100 years of cumulative and rounded experience most of which were gained by hands on tutoring facilitated by our manufacturing partners and conducted in very deft and deliberate manner over several years and still on going.

We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:

Job Title: Marketing Manager 

Location: Lagos 
Reports To: Head Commercial Unit

Job Description & Accountabilities
Direct Responsibility For All Company Activities That Result In Generation of Intel, Interests, Leads & Enquiries In Our Equipment Solutions And Services:

  • Direct responsibility for developing, Nurturing and Managing the Relationship with our
  • Channel Partners to GENERATE INTEL on PROJECTS, CREATE INTERESTS, LEADS & ENQUIRIES of our Equipment Solutions and Services
  • Regular Liaison with our Channel Partners communicating our VALUE Proposition and the mutually beneficial value potentials to their projects, proposals and responsibilities.
  • Generate, organize and manage our Solutions & Services, Promotions, Road shows, Presentations, Seminars etc.
  • Evaluate all Intel, interests, leads and enquiries and report to the Commercial Team Lead
  • Evaluation and Coordination of new business development activities by Identifying new markets, devise and deliver promotional activities and marketing at trade and promotional events
  • Direct responsibility for our Brand management and corporate Social responsibility programs
  • Prepare reports for management team and attend management meetings when required
  • Constantly appraise market and determine conditions and associated business developments activities needed to take advantage of existing or potential opportunities
  • Responsible for trade and promotional materials and events – both electronic and physical
  • Direct, lead and oversight of our Public Relations
  • Responsibility and Superintendence of our SKYLINE Loyalty Program
  • Direct Responsibility for customer relationship management – develop and build relationships with new customers while strengthening existing ones
  • Always be in search of and scanning for new opportunities, new projects – tenders, contracts, expression of interests, strategic partnerships etc.

Direct Responsibility For all Company Activities that Lead to the Conversion of Generated Enquiries and Interests In Our Company Products and Services to Sales Orders:

  • Direct responsibility for the Costing, Engineering, Planning & Management Unit activities of HANL
  • Responsibility of ensuring compliance with terms of contracts entered with clients
  • Responsibility for the preparation of Cost Effective service Propositions to Customers
  • Responsibility for the achievement of established Sales Plans and Targets
  • Responsibility of generating repeat sales orders from existing customers
  • Development, Evaluation and Review of Sales Plans & Projections
  • Prepare reports for management team and attend management meetings when required
  • Constantly appraise market and determine conditions and associated business activities needed to take advantage of existing or potential opportunities
  • Make and Coordinate presentations and required follow ups
  • Oversee and review the preparation and adoption of adequate Work planning between CEPM & TOPS
  • Carry out Project and Service management oversight to ensure that it meets planned work schedule, design, quality to customer requirements
  • Responsibility of bringing to clients’ attention any work situation that could have significant changes in costing
  • Develop and maintain Creative and continuous Client relationship (CRM) including following up on orders and new leads
  • To strengthen the relationships with current and newly acquired customers by creative communication and interaction
  • To identify products that will satisfy customer needs in conjunction with the, business development and technical operations department and or with the client
  • To periodically analyse, evaluate and understand the competition in the course of relating with the client
  • Track the activity of competition in terms of sales
  • To file Sales report to HOC as required

Education & Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction related field (Civil, Mechanical Engineering, Building Technology, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Architecture, and Quantity Surveying etc.)
  • Masters of Business Administration will be an advantage
  • Demonstrable and Verifiable Marketing and Business development Experience
  • Demonstrable and Verifiable Sales achievement Experience and References
  • Attended function related seminars and courses
  • Project management Certification will be an advantage
  • Very design and technically aware as well as AutoCAD software savvy

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience of working and leading, in a Sales, marketing and business development team
  • Experience working in the construction, industrial engineering or similar industries
  • Familiarity with Brand Management
  • Experience and familiarity with Sales and Marketing Plans and evaluation.
  • Experience of Telemarketing will be an advantage
  • Experience of working in a target driven environment.
  • Knowledge of applicable and related Microsoft office software applications.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge of the construction and industrial engineering industries
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques
  • Knowledge of profit and loss and how to grow and monitor business sales and profit
  • Knowledge of management techniques including Key Performance Indicators, and development of people
  • Excellent Technical knowledge and ability to read and interpret drawings
