We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Lagos

Role Summary
The most suitable candidate would have worked in a similar capacity, in the Nigerian oil and Gas industry and thus deeply knowledgeable on:

  • Database of marine spread of various IOCs and contract holders
  • Database of vessels working in the Nigerian Oil and Gas maritime space – both foreign and indigenous
  • Extensive and global network of brokers, shipyards and vessel operators with a proven track record of securing vessels for deployment in Nigeria
  • Expertise in bid analysis and tendering process supported by records of bids won
  • Proven ability to fully analyse and understand client’s businesses to the point of proffering improvements / efficiency that creates a service need to be filled by your product/services
  • Proven expertise in report and proposal writing.
  • Excellent relationship with key industry personnel especially NAPIMS, NIPEX, DPR, NCDMB and major IOCs

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or related fields.
  • An MBA in International Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline will be an added advantage.
  • The candidate would also be resident in Lagos and thus will not require accommodation by the company.

Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Business Development/ marketing activities within Nigeria.
  • Good Network within the Nigerian oil and Gas Industry.
  • Must have strong negotiation and persuasive Skills
  • Expert knowledge in vessel chattering.

  • Display awareness of the need for confidentiality in sensitive matters
