Job Title: Project Manager

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Full CBS Support in all branches and Head Office (Frontend users And Backend)
  • Execution Of CBS Day end and Month End Run
  • Run relevant scripts for Support and routine software backups
  • Daily, weekly & monthly reporting of CBS (Core Banking System)
  • Administration of Test PCs and Test Server for CBS and all other software
  • Co-ordination of User Acceptance testing of CBS new release and updates
  • Support in software testing and migration to new Banking Application
  • Key team player in the local Application management by leveraging on technology
  • Develop tactical tool in order to streamline or bring more efficiency within processes
  • Give support to other Software vendors on CBS interface or 3rd parties
  • Run relevant scripts on other databases
  • Key team player in supporting the IT assets management and upgrades
  • Ensure system integrity, availability and confidentiality of all Enterprise solutions
  • Ensure a proper segregation of duties/rights of users on CBS
  • Ensure integrity of daily CBS backups
  • Ensure availability of test servers (Core banking system, MIS, middleware)
  • Ensure application-level business continuity of banking operations at any time
  • Maintain and develop deep knowledge of products, parameters, user rights, profiles and processes of CBS

Necessary Experience and Knowledge

  • Minimum B.Sc./HND in Business Management or information systems or comparable qualification
  • Minimum 4 years project experience, preferably from a consulting firm, with at least one year spent in a coordination-level role
  • Evidence of sound experience in the following;
    • Planning of projects and budgets
    • Project management and execution
    • Evaluation of contract negotiations with providers (suppliers/hardware/software/network)
    • Analysis of project risks, derivation of business effects and presentation to the Management
    • Problem solving, analytical and process-oriented
  • Proven project leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent analytical skills (i.e. financial modelling and excel) with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of business process optimization and process management
  • Ability to communicate effectively both writing and orally
  • Experience in any Banking industry would be an advantage.

Job Title: Senior Network Admin

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Assist the IT Operations manager in the definition and implementation of the network architecture strategy and management
  • Plan, deploy, configure and maintain router and switches, administrative responsibility for the entire networking infrastructure
  • Plan detailed concept of LAN / VLAN / WAN for all bank locations via connection to ISP
  • Design a network concept and create lifecycle plan for network devices
  • Backup and setup of network configurations

Necessary Experience and Knowledge

  • Evidence of sound experience and in-depth knowledge in the following;
    • Network administration (up-to-date Cisco router hardware, operation system IOS, network connections), patch management, scripting, access control lists
    • Cyber roam deployment
    • Configuration of firewall, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
    • IT security tools and methods of as VPN and SSH
    • Backup and recovery procedures for routers, switches and firewalls

Job Title: Senior Software Developer

System Architecture:

  • Interact with our business and technology stakeholders to understand our business direction to ensure it informs our technology direction

  • Maintain and develop knowledge of products, and processes of all IT assets

  • Work closely with product and marketing managers, user interaction designers, and other software engineers to develop new product offerings and improve existing ones

Necessary Experience, Skills and Knowledge

  • B.Sc/HND in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline with cognate experience
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience in a similar role and operational environment
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving database problems including database integrity, performance, blocking and deadlocking, replication, connectivity, security etc.
  • DB Administration experience with MS SQL Server
  • Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MSSQL Server including Clustering, Database Mirroring, Replication, and AlwaysOn Availability Groups
  • Experience in web development, mobile development and object-oriented programming
  • Knowledge of Web Interfaces and PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, ASP.NET, Java, C#, SOA
  • Knowledge of Software Development Process, Software Requirements, Software Design, Software Debugging, Software/System Documentation, Software Testing
  • Must be organized, have an eye for detail, and be able to put ideas into a tangible form
  • Audit/approve developers’ change requests to existing tables, stored procedures, indices, constraints, triggers and views, as well as audit/approve new entries
  • Knowledge of 3rd party DBA tools and applications (DB Admin)
  • Experience supporting developers to troubleshoot and write effective SQL
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills and process-oriented approach to work
  • A certified ISAQB would be an asset.
