We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Scaffolding, Formwork Sales Manager / Engineer
Start Date: ASAP
- Urgent opportunity for experienced Sales Engineers or Managers selling formwork or construction material with one of the largest companies in the industry.
- The main focus is to grow and manage sales within the West Africa Region.
- This position is home based with a lot of travel within the region.
- We will consider cande East.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Gain and maintain a comprehensive knowledge about the company’s products and services
- Knowledge about how the company’s products and services compare with the competition
- Identify potential customers and projects
- Provide customer support during all project stages
- Be accountable for all credit interactions with the customer
- In cooperation with management, produce plans, budgets, forecasts (effectively using the CRM tool)
- Work towards and exceed sales targets set by the company
- Prepare and present presentations and proposals
- Develop both new and existing accounts and expand business
- Sell service solutions and products
- Ensure the number of prospect calls each month does not fall below the agreed standard
- Ensure there is a full knowledge of all the key customers decision makers and key influencers
- Maintain and update customer records and enquiry status
Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience
- Civil Engineering Degree
- Formwork/construction material sales experience in Africa
- Excellent skills in English required, any other local languages are a big plus
Skills / Characteristics:
- Understand the construction methodology
- Passionate to find solutions for clients
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Experience in selling value-added solutions
Salary is market related.
