Job Title: Online Charging System Engineer (OCS)

Job Details
- Maintenance and improvement of databases including installation, configuration, upgrade, patches and bug fixes
- Performance tuning, including database/query tuning and re-writing SQLs
- Support Technical Application enhancements related to performance, security, patch and automated deployments using scripting
- Maintain the current response and availability service levels
- Perform trouble shooting of technical problems on Linux/Unix servers, as well as offer resolutions accordingly
- Performs daily system monitoring, health check, verify the integrity and availability of server resources, systems & key processes
- Reviewing system & applications logs and verifying completion of schedules jogs (e.g. backup)
- Document UNIX / LINUX OS/server problems and resolution for future reference
- Responsible for OCS application administration and troubleshooting of multiple Development, Test, Production and Disaster Recovery environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve OCS Application and Infrastructure issues including off hours support for production as needed
- Maintain technical documentation and procedures
- Maintain the UNIX / LINUX OS/server assets inventory
- Work as part of a team and provide 24×7 support with on-call rotation
- Proactively monitor the database systems and ensure minimum downtime
Job Requirements
- Min Required Experience: 2 year(s)
- Min Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree/HND

- Database development including writing and reviewing stored procedures
- Backup and recovery including disaster recovery and replication

- Test for integrated technical solutions.
- Database refreshes, data masking and schema patches
- Provide Test Plan and Specification, Test planning and design activities and support service lifecycle.
- Responsible for test environment and equipment setup and maintenance
Salary
N1,800,000 – N1,900,000 Naira per Annum
