 Job Title: Discipline Inspector III

Main Functions
  • Perform discipline quality inspection activities in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan.
  • Keep Quality supervision updated with status of quality issues.
  • Monitor production processes and perform surveillance activities.
  • Review and evaluate Contractor’s and Suppliers’ quality documents for accuracy and adequacy.
  • Support Mechanical Completion process.
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise to site team to avoid/resolve quality problems
  • Attend and contribute to kick-off, pre-inspection and alignment meetings as necessary
  • Confirm readiness to work, including evaluating the status of key documents
  • Monitor Contractor’s and Suppliers’ quality assurance and quality control activities
  • Perform assessments of the Contractor’s and Suppliers’ quality processes and procedures
  • Perform inspections and verifications during construction and/or fabrication activities in accordance with requirements of the Inspection and Test Plans.
  • Witness Contractor’s activities and endorse Contractor’s and Suppliers’ quality records, as appropriate
  • Witness acceptance tests and perform final quality check prior to acceptance of equipment and materials, as appropriate
  • Steward non-conformance within scope of responsibility
  • Provide early warning of potential quality problems
Job Requirement
  • Experience executing project construction or quality assurance/control of engineering, procurement, or construction activities.
  • Technical Training or High School Diploma.
  • Technical discipline certifications commensurate with work experience.
  • Willing and able to business travel (domestic/overseas) to project sites to provide various levels of support.
  • This is a level 3 position: At least 20 years of related experience is required.

  • The Project Advisor is an expert in Project Controls, Planning and Scheduling and Project Services and provides their expertise to projects as needed, supports the Project Controls Supervisor in updating tools and processes; assists with training and mentoring of less experienced group members.
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Lead / Coordinate effort for providing Project Controls and Planning Expertise to projects:
  • As needed through project Gates and Check Points:
    • Through the preparation of Schedules to compare with Operated by Others (OBO) Operator-prepared submittals
    • Ad hoc -Schedule and progress assessments (verification of project schedule basis)
    • Participate in PEBRAs (Project Economic and Business Risk Assessment), Special Cost and Schedule Allowance (SCSA) other Schedule workshops
    • Participate in IPRs and other Cold Eyes Review as needed.

  • Relief for Project Controls Supervisor due to project travel and personal time

Job Title: Pilot – Expat

Job Description
  • Coordinate tanker movements on site and the transfer operations of hydrocarbons to or from the FPSO and to or from the export tanker or vessel (Pilot, Berthing Master & tanker Loading Master).
  • Deputise for the Marine Superintendent when required
  • Organises arrival/departure procedures for export tankers,
  • Pilot the export tanker to/from mooring point (loading buoy or tandem position),
  • During an emergency, manage to secure the off-load tanker and/or coordinate disconnection operations
  • Assists and provide marine advice during approac and mooring of a export tanker.
  • Inspect the export tanker, complete the HSE and Security check lists,
  • Inspect site support vessels,
  • Allow or refuse berthing operations,
  • Supervise tanker de-ballasting,
  • Apply valid HSE rules, international and National regulations codes and standards,
  • Ensure communication between tanker and FPSO is maintained during loading operation,

Job Title: FPSO Loading Master – Expat

General Description
  • Coordinate crude oil transfers, settling operations, ballasting / de-ballasting, inert gas operation on FPSO
  • Coordinate offloading operations on the FPSO
  • Coordinate the Logistics Foreman, Pumpman and Deck Hands activities, as directed by Marine Superintendent
  • Provides assistance to the Pilot as required
  • Deputise for the Marine Superintendent position
Scope of Work
  • Monitor the loading of produced crude oil and inert gas
  • Monitor produced crude oil distribution in tanks
  • Check sediments and deposits in tanks and measurement equipment
  • Manage planning for tank heating and Crude Oil Washing
  • Manage ballast and stability operations, including trim, heel, mooring loads and hull stresses of the FPSO
  • Monitor and control cargo and ballast tank displays and metering unit when pumping is in progress
  • Keep records of all export tanker operations and offloading data
  • Prepare and coordinates cargo tanks or ballast inspection/maintenance.
  • Inspect site vessels
  • Authorise critical actions to be carried out by the Operation or Production Supervisor with respect to FPSO stability, trim, heel or hull stress for the distribution of produced oil or ballasting operations
  • Assists with volume calculations for the export batch
  • Act as interface with Quantity Surveyors
