Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: Lagos 
Department: Sales
Reports to: Managing Director

Overall Purpose of Job

  • Ensures smooth running of company operations

Internal Relationships:

  • Interacts with all the departments in the company

External Relationships:

  • Relates with customers, installers, and contractors

Educational Qualifications/Experience

  • Minimum of university degree ( a masters degree in Business Administration will be an added advantage)
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Minimum of 7 years working experience in sales
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be able to thrive under pressure
  • Must be flexible
  • Must be a people person (Must have people Management Skills)
  • Good analytical skills numerate abilities and strong attention to details.
  • Decision making and be result oriented.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities and Accountability
Strategy Development, Planning & Reporting:

  • Develop customer service/marketing strategy across most of the areas in which the company and its Products operate. Such strategy is to be cascaded into quantifiable objectives to aid measurement of the results from its implementation.
  • Constantly analyze market and competitive trends and recommend changes to agreed marketing strategies based on the outcome of such analysis and feedback

Strategy Implementation, Communication and Feedback:

  • Develop and ensure effective communication and compliance with standards of operation.
  • Responsible for focusing external image and significantly increasing presence and awareness of all company owned Products in all key markets in which we operate
  • Design and deploy systems which are used to obtain and generate bi-annual Customer Feedback reports on all key Brands owned by the company
  • Carry out market analysis and projections of the business viz – a – viz; based on predictive and descriptive customer trends and behaviors.
  • Drive internal marketing campaigns at both store and corporate level aimed at motivating staff & educating on brand values and standards

Relationship Management:

  • Identify, analyze, pursue and report on market opportunities both existing and new
  • Identify, cultivate and manage the company and Product relationship with key, affinity and strategic marketing partners. In achieving this, it must also be ensured that relationship management guidelines and performance standards are clearly defined and communicated to all key stakeholders
  • Own and drive the implementation initiatives
  • Ownership, Management and Leadershi
  • Own and be the custodian of all Products owned by the company and the various channels through which information about them is disseminate
  • Develop and administer policies and practices aimed at ensuring optimal utilization of the department’s Resources. In performing this role, the Head Marketing shall ensure
  • Performance objectives are clearly defined for all job role
  • All staff of the Department are evaluated against agreed performance objectives at pre-defined periods set by the HR functio
  • Provision of coaching and counselling as necessar
  • Development of a culture which supports the strategy of the Divisio
  • In house training of staff to ensure maximum delivery of agreed standar

Regulatory:

  • Ensure compliance with any and all requirements defined/established by Government Regulatory agencies that have an over-sight responsibility of the Department’s activitie
