Job Title: Financial Accountant

Job Description

  • The ideal candidate is responsible for the coordination and execution of account reconciliations, delivery of excellence in finacial control including payroll, good knowledge and experience in finance, legal and regulatory issues of the various jurisdictions involved  our businesses.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc in Accounting (Minimum Second Class Upper)
  • Recongnized Professional Accounting Qualification ( ACCA, ICAN, ICMA, ACA, etc)
  • At least 3-5 years Accounting experience in sophisticated and reputable company
  • Excellent business-fluent written and spoken english
  • Highly discrete and able to uphold the utmost confidentiality
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Perform general accounting activities including prepartion, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, capital expenditure schedules and the production of management reports.
  • Payroll Management.
  • Budget preparation
  • Tax administration covering rendition of returns to tax offices in resolving issues related to tax computational objections and queries
  • Ensure the company’s cash management and banking activities are efficiently carried out.
  • Mangae the company’s accounts payables, accounts receivables and fixed assets.
  • Maintaining intergrity of accounting software ensuring it remains effective and operational at all times.
  • Provide financial support including forecasting, budgeting and analysing variations from budget.
  • Preparation of audit files including statutory accounts in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Review and verify accuracy of financial and contract paperwork and processes
